I raise chickens and ducks. My husband raises pigs :) we also have two special needs children so it helps out sooooo much! Next year we are going to add goats to our "farm".

Look into a local nursing/mrdd home. Some of the residents could be wards of the state and most definitely need clothes. I was doing Goodwill, but like yourself, learned not to do that!!!!!! So now mine go to my local home.

You said you are injured. Did your doctor happen to give you a steroid shot, or oral steroids? Because that will cause serious retention.

I don't take Synthroid (reacts to my body weird?) but I take Armour Thyroid and every time I get a new dosage I have night sweats for a few weeks or so. I think it's my body adjusting to it. I agree, it's a small price to pay.....just gross :)

I was diagnosed about 8 years ago....you can add me :) I'll be honest, I haven't had my levels checked in over a year (bad me!) but I feel great when I take Armour Thyroid. Felt horrible on Synthroid!

I hope so....I raise ducks and chickens and at any given time I have no less that 7 dozen eggs in my fridge. So yeah, I eat a lot of eggs lately :)

I've tried PB2 and now the only thing I use it in is smoothies.....it's good in smoothies, but it's nothing like the real thing! And I love peanut butter. So I eat the real thing only now :)

I agree with water weight. You just started lifting, your body will retain water. Are you eating any exercise calories back? I'm a big fan of doing that!
