As a teacher, I have no time either - so I had to make time. I've put off teacher related things so that I can have time to exercise. My house is a mess right now because I haven't had time to clean it up since I'm choosing to exercise instead. Cleaning can be exercising too- you're moving around, going up and down stairs…

Up your calories but become more active- more exercising, moving around, anything but sitting on your butt :) I found I could easily eat 1700 calories, exercise 45 minutes on my elliptical on a day, and still lose a little bit of weight the next day or over a week. I notice that I feel ****ty and tired when I stop…

For me, I find that when I can stick to around 30 grams of sugar - from anything - I lose weight a lot faster. I cut out sugar from my daily cups of coffee (I learned to like coffee with just 2% milk), if I eat fruit- it's just one fruit/serving a day (because it will eat up most of my sugar intake), and I try to avoid…

Yeah I can't watch Man vs Food ~ I feel sorry for the guy and I think it makes Americans look like fat a$$es for having eating competitions like that. I'm sure other countries have competitions as well but most Americans are so overweight it's not encouraging us to lose weight.

I started with 75% drink 25% water and eventually got down to 25% drink 75% water. - Then I switched over to…

It's nice to sit down and eat a meal with no distractions- no TV, no computer, NOTHING :) Especially if you can get your spouse to sit down to eat with you and have a nice conversation with one another about your day.

Can you plan to maybe eat a little less the next day -or- increase your exercise after your bigger meal? While it doesn't always work, I stick to calories in and calories out method of "dieting". While I may eat more one day, if I can fast the next day to help balance calories out that usually helps me to stay on track.…

I try to encourage my family and friends to find events that won't include food ~ today, for example, my husband asked if I wanted to go out to eat (again) and I asked him if we could decide to do something without food involved (so we went shopping for our pets and then food shopping- but hey at least we didn't actually…
