I think it's definitely possible while watching your food too. I have lost 61 pounds in the last 6 months and the ONLY exercising I do is walking (while pushing a stroller) and playing basic Wii games (like tennis & Just Dance 2). As long as you are aware of the food going in at the same time, it can definitely be done.

Congrats! It's very exciting, isn't it? Since starting my weight loss in September, I have lost my 23 month old son (twice!) plus 4 lbs. Everytime I pick him up and carry him around, I am in shock that I had 2 of him added to my weight! Best of luck for continued success! :)

I haven't gotten rid of anything because I'm still wearing it! As soon as I am able to get some t-shirts (which I'm having a hard time finding!) and at least one pair of jeans, then I will be getting rid of everything. I've gone from a size 24/26 to a 16 so far and my jeans are barely hanging on. LOL

I use the database too, since I don't have a HRM or anything else to tell me my calories burned. I figure it's better than nothing and I don't eat back my exercise calories most of the time (since I don't get a lot of them anyways).

I'm an extreme couponer (but not to the extreme they showed on TV), but I go during the day while most people are at work. I'm not sure about whether you should/shouldn't, but I personally eat baked potatoes. I just make sure that I don't load it with stuff (I just put a small amount of butter on mine). I figure that it's at least something good for me compared to other junk I used to eat.

I eat a lot of packaged items as well, and one thing that has helped me is I log my food for the day the night before or in the morning. I'd love to know too! As of right now I just log it under dancing, general, for the number of minutes I do it. But I'd love to have it more accurate if possible.
