I didn't read the other comments, so I hope this isn't a duplicate. I have a MAJOR sweet tooth & love chocolate and peanut butter everything. So I eat this every morning and it actually keeps me full for hours (I had it at 8am this morning and ate lunch at 2:30). 1 cup coconut milk (I sometimes use almond milk instead,…

I run with my phone in my hand because I look at Runkeeper to know my distance & speed. I tried an arm band thingie but it didn't work for me because I found it uncomfortable and I couldn't see it while running, but I'm weird ;) As for keys, I just run around my neighborhood, so I don't have those with me. I've seen people…

I use Optimum Nutrition Natural (chocolate). I buy it off of Amazon. I mix it with almond (or coconut) milk, ice, chocolate PB2, cocoa powder, spinach (or kale), and xanthan gum to make a smoothie everyday. The xanthan gum is a thickener that I add to make it more like a pudding consistency to eat it instead of drink it.

I'm 4'11", almost 34 year old mom of 2. Started out at 223 lbs & am currently around 130 (I haven't weighed myself for awhile). I reached my goal weight of 109 (and went as low as 103), but have gained back some due it vacation/holidays/injury/surgery.

I HATED dogs & was terrified of them. However, one day while out doing a 9 mile run, I had a stray follow me home the remaining 4 miles. We ended up keeping him (after checking to see if he was chipped & posting/searching for owners) and he's now my biggest baby. He's an 80 lb. 2 1/2 year old Black Lab/Pitbull mix and this…

Before becoming a SAHM to my 2 boys, I worked for Family Services and home visits were a huge part of what I did. At the time I wasn't watching what I ate (since I ate pure crap all.the.time), but I always politely declined any food and/or drink offered to me. I would start off with a "No thank you." If that didn't work,…

I've had 2 c-sections and have a lot of extra skin. My sister, however, has had 3 c-sections and has a completely flat stomach and wear tiny bikinis and looks smokin' hot. It just all depends on the person.

I have an incredibly responsible, honest and trustworthy 10 year old, so he gets to stay home (when he chooses) for short amounts of time. The 4 year old goes with me because he's not so sweet ;) The rules when my son is home alone is not to answer/open the door, which must remain locked, not to answer the phone unless…

We currently have a SAMs membership, only because I got it for free on LivingSocial. We've bought some items there, but not a whole lot. My ILs have a Costco membership (& Gave us one for Christmas that we are going to activate once our SAMs one ends). I prefer Costco due to the cheap gas prices and the availability of…

I mix it with chocolate protein powder & peanut butter (or PB2). I also mix with vanilla protein powder & blueberries.

Thanks!

Will have to try. Thanks!

Thanks, I'll be trying this!
-
Congrats! You look great :)
-
Had spinach in my protein smoothie this morning & my dinner tonight will have mushrooms, onions, different colored bell peppers & tomatoes :)
-
You look great! So happy that you are my MFP friend :)

I have a cheap one from WalMart (like $10). One of my best investments! I weigh everything. Everyday. ALL.THE.TIME. It's easy to do and makes things so accurate.

I'm 4'11 and started out weighing 223 lbs. I've been on MFP for a little over 2 years and I currently weigh between 109-113 (I'm in maintenance). Don't feel discouraged. There are a lot of great people on here that will help you with any questions you have :)
-
Thanks, these sound great!
-
Dana, I LOVE your story, pictures, and most importantly...YOU! You are such a remarkable woman, mom, and friend. I'm so glad that you're my MFP friend and I'm motivated by you and everything you do. You are truly beautiful both inside and out!!

I'd just get a test from Dollar Tree (or similar). That way you're only out $1 and you'll know. Not knowing is just added stress for me. Good luck either way :)

For each pound of meat (ground turkey, ground beef, chicken...whatever), I use: 1 TBSP paprika 1 tsp chili powder 1 tsp minced onion 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp ground cumin It's easy, tasty, and not too spicy :)

Honestly, I'm not doing well at all. I have been baking cookies for the last week (to give out to neighbors) and I've been eating way too much of it. But, it's something (baking cookies) that my boys and I like to do together and I figure that these 2 (or even 3) weeks of eating it isn't going to totally derail all of my…

As others have posted, you have to do this for yourself. No one else can motivate you or make you do it. You just have to want it. Before starting this lifestyle change, I was a 4'11" 223 lb. mother of 2. I went from a size 24W in pants and a XXL shirt to now a size 5 pants and an XS shirt. Nothing drastic, nothing…

I'm 4'11" and 112 lbs. and currently wear a size 5 short jeans. Could be smaller if it wasn't for my protruding hip bones and my extra belly skin (TMI).
-
I have the issue of my hips protruding and my knees hurting from rubbing together when I sleep on my side (only since I've lost the weight). It makes for some uncomfortable nights.

I don't run races with music because I can't find any earbuds that actually will stay put in my little itty bitty ears (they all fall out no matter how far I have them jammed in there). When I'm running around our neighborhood, I'll sometimes just carry my phone playing Pandora on full volume so I can hear it. But it's no…
