I started running last November/December (had never been a runner before). I've ran between 5-10 5Ks and two 10Ks now. I've been slacking on running lately due to it being cold and not wanting to wake up & go so early. But, my normal running routine is usually about 4-5 days a week with anywhere from 25-40 miles per week.

Feet (even my own!) Chalk (EVERYTHING about it!) Standing Water (streams, ponds, even bathwater...MUST take a shower because I just think of it as sitting in my own filth!) I'm sure I have a ton more but this is what I thought of at the moment

I mix flavored protein powder with mine and sometimes frozen blueberries...can't eat it plain.

Sounds tasty!

I make my husband's breakfast every morning that he eats on his way to work. Here are some things I send with him: Homemade Oatmeal Waffles (made with whole wheat flour & oatmeal, so it's more filling than "regular waffles) that are frozen and then just popped in the toaster and then topped with peanut butter--eaten like a…

I love this! :) My reason is solely because I ate whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted, as much as I wanted once I was old enough to because I could. And I didn't do ANYTHING exercise related. Not such a brilliant idea!

Between 5-7 hours a night, with at least one potty break in there, LOL. Some days I end up taking a nap after lunch when my 3 year old naps, so I guess you can add an extra hour or two in there for the week :)

I currently get up anytime between 4 & 4:45 to go running in the mornings (weekdays) in order to be back to fix everyone's breakfasts and get my oldest to school. If it was up to me and I had no responsibilities, then I would still run in the mornings, but it would just be whenever I woke up on my own (which would be…

I was riding to work with my sister and her now ex-husband when the first plane hit (my car was being repaired and they took me to work). Upon arriving at work (a bank), they had the radio on and we listened to it all day long. I remember being SUPER busy that day and actually running out of money because EVERYONE was…

Today I will stay on track because I want to kick butt at my first 10K in 3 weeks!

I was super hungry this morning, so I had: Homemade Oatmeal Waffle (149 calories) with 1/4 TBSP Skippy Natural PB (24 calories) Fage 0% Plain Greek Yogurt (98 calories) mixed with 1/2 scoop of Strawberry Protein Powder (70 calories) Homemade Protein Bar (93 calories) Total of 434 calories

I usually make a salad (just lettuce, shredded carrots and shredded cheese--I don't do dressing), add a pouch or a 1/2 can of tuna and crush up 4 Ritz crackers on top. It's pretty tasty.

Thanks! Looks great :)

I agree about going to a running store and trying on different shoes since everyone's feet are different. I'm also a neutral and I have Nike Air Pegasus+ 29 and I absolutely LOVE them! They are super comfortable and I haven't had any knee problems since switching to these shoes, even when running almost everyday. Here's a…

Sounds good. Thanks!

Just finished eating a Pink Lady apple...so yummy! Heading back to the kitchen now to get something else. I cannot stop eating the last few days!

I got one at 16, but since you had to pay per call, it was rarely used and I had to pay for the phone and bill with my own money from my part time job. I'm 32 now and have only had a few different phones since then.

Here's a link to my "success story" if you'd like to read it. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/543057-goal-reached-114lbs-lost-for-my-32nd-birthday I am 4 ft. 11 inches and currently 106 lbs. (in maintenance, so I keep losing/gaining the same 3-5 lbs.) I went from a size 22/24 and a XXL top (sometimes even XXXL) to…

Jen- I lost the most of my weight solely by changing my diet and by taking walks around our subdivision and doing games on the Wii (Just Dance 2, EA Active 2, Zumba, Wii Sports & Wii Fit Plus) while my older son was at school and my younger one was napping. My walks started off just walking my older one to school and…

I use Pure Protein Powder (available at Target, WalMart, Amazon) because it's on the cheap side, but still tastes good. I have both the Frosty Chocolate and the Vanilla Creme (it's whey protein powder). I also currently have Body Fortress Strawberry, but I don't like it very much. Maybe because I'm not a huge fan of…

You two are awesome! Congrats on the weight loss and doing it together. Happy Anniversary!!

I'm in! I HATE HATE HATE push ups, but I will attempt this. Thanks for the push, Denise :)

I was able to do 250 (in sets of 50 each) using 2 big cans of tomato sauce as my weights. Unfortunately that was the heaviest thing I could find (that we had 2 of), but I still felt the burn in my arms so I guess it worked out :) I did a different thing each set of 50 (shoulders, biceps (x2), triceps (x2)).
