  • i LOVE my snap fitness. but i guess I've developed a really good relationship with the staff. It is really comforting to know that I can go to the gym whatever time i choose. Though its small, I like it a lot.
  • i dice it and put it in a sauce pan with a cup or so of milk or chicken broth and kind of mash it...add in a little cheese and its good. really thick. mmmm:love:
  • I LOVE THIS, but instead of cream cheese, I use Fage yogurt!!! SO SO SO SO good, and boosts the protein up! (i love my protein!) :drinker: :flowerforyou: :drinker: :flowerforyou: :drinker:
  • I've read the book! That's really awesome! I hope he gets it! :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:
  • You look awesome! ...wish my booty looked like that!:flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:
  • I eat lots of red meat! It's a good source of protein and bumps up iron and whatnot. I can't imagine a diet without it.
  • Just milk and honey...if i'm feeling really adventurous i'll add in some walnuts.
  • well if you do, please let me know what they have to say! I think it would be cool if they didn't airbrush, but i mean, i understand its a media/marketing thing. But congrats to Jenny - she looks AWESOME even if she's airbrushed.
  • I have Skinny ***** in the Kitch, and I like it, but like msarro said, you really do have to take it with a grain of salt. It does have a lot of good points and information, but some of it is pretty far fetched and outlandish. It's good to read, but I wouldn't really take EVERYTHING for a truth.
  • Your stomach looks amazing, girl!!! You have an obligation to show off your hard work - it's obviously paid off!!!
  • I read Shape! I've never heard about them not airbrushing the covers....but I'm sure they do. No one looks good enough to be on the cover sans a little help. (at least I tell myself that  )
  • yeah the size people would totally scare me away from the food...
  • Has anyone seen this before? I just kind of stumbled upon this...and it totally ruined my appetite. I feel so much better about my healthy choices. http://video.aol.com/video-detail/a-meal-to-die-for/4008287236
  • They have them at Sonic!...which means they're really healthy :grumble: :noway:
  • Mine does too!, I was really shocked to find that because everyone says that the machines overestimate, but i was pleasantly surprised.
  • The biggest problem I had when moving from treadmill to road was pacing myself. yeah, it's harder to run outside, but not drastically...but pacing myself was a huge problem. I had NO idea how fast I was going and I wore myself out really quickly because i just took off running. The more I do it though, the more I'm able to…
  • I drink a glass of wine with dinner most nights. I don't really go out drinking as much as I used to (mainly because I have a tendency to make my driver/taxi take a quick trip through taco bell at 3 am - gotta love fourth meal) but on occasion I still do it. but having a drink with dinner a couple of nights a week isn't a…
  • My horse drinks soda out of bottles. He just picks it up and turns the bottom up. My dog lily LOVES meat, and she'll beg for seafood too, but as soon as she gets a scallop or calamari or octopus (sushi) she runs away and hides it under something and growls if you get to close to her hiding spot. it smells.
  • thanks! I guess it was kind of a pointless question....because I understand completely everything and that when you do strength training you're working muscles and not fat haha (unfortunately it doesn't work like that) but it just seems like it would kind of overlap a little. anyway, thank yall!
  • Okay, so I've been thinking lately.... I know that you can't target problem areas :grumble:. AND I know that if you lift weights before doing cardio it depletes your glycogen levels and when you're doing the actual cardio, you're burning more fat than if you were to begin with cardio. That all makes sense to me, and I…
  • I think I'm having a problem with this. I've been running every day for the past 11 days averaging 6 miles a day, more or less depending on time. I know that this week I won't be able to workout on Wednesday or Friday, so I've been preparing myself for that by going everyday long and hard. I've also noticed a bump up on…
  • i marinade them and either grill them, bake them, or saute in a skillet with a little bit of olive oil. right now I have some marinating in yogurt, a little olive oil and vinegar, and some indian spices.... mmmm, hopefully it turns out well!! :flowerforyou:
  • Hahaha I do that too.. I agree with everyone else, too much fiber too fast isn't pretty!
  • yes, you will still lose weight but without getting the right nutrients for your body to run at its best, you won't be as healthy or feel as good as if you eat mostly healthy things. :flowerforyou:
  • i agree, take them back! running shoes are designed to HELP you run correctly and painlessly, but you have to make sure that your shoes are made to help your specific needs.
  • i'd have to find 11 friends to come over when i made that. ...and I PLAN ON IT:love:
  • all of the guys at my gym have "man dates" where they will all go watch the other one lift and then talk for an hour and then the other one will lift, and they talk....rarely get THAT much done. it's HILARIOUS. but they're nice and helpful because they "know everything about lifting" haha don't let them intimidate you,…
  • Brooks are supposedly the best running shoes on the market. I personally wear nikes but the shoe that I've been running in for the past year is no longer made (running on my last pair!:grumble: ) I've looked in to saucony but they're rather heavy, asics are good shoes for running but my toes are a little wide for that,…
  • DELICOUS!:flowerforyou:
  • Okay, so MAYBE this is me just being a little scale/number/weight obsessed (most likely:laugh: ) butttttt have you ever wondered how much your hair weighs? WELL! Last night I got curious, and I made my friend hold my hair while i got on the scale.... I dropped 1.5 lbs! kind of crazy. anyyyyway, that's all! :flowerforyou:
