MFP recommends 1200 calories a day as a limit for women because simply, 1200 is the minimum amount women, on average, can consume daily without creating health issues. Everybody is different. You should find your BMR and increase the calorie limit for yourself on MFP according to your goals.…

I'd say to get a heart rate monitor instead of relying on the app for calories burned. That way, you know EXACTLY how much YOU burned, other then an average.

I'll repeat what's already been said plenty: spot reducing is impossible, also, stomach fat is always the last to go. However, abs come from eating properly, no matter how many crunches you do! Eat tonnes of veggies, get your protein and keep an eye on your carb & sugar intake.
