Congratulations on your progress!

Depending on how often you are saving yourself time can swing your calorie intake quite a bit, especially at the deficit you're at already. If you were consistently losing 2 pounds/wk, then you really should be looking at eating back the calories you are now burning with exercise.

Common problem. from the menu bar in the app verify that it is connected in the Apps and Devices setting. Then verify that it is set in the Steps settings. From your Home screen in the app, drag down on the screen to update your info and sync from devices. If it is set in both, try disconnecting in both settings. Then…

I'm a 41yr, 5'11", male that currently weighs 201 pounds. In other words, I should burn slight fewer calories than you. My Net Calorie intake is 1830 (total calories minus exercise calories). My Daily average gross calorie intake for the last 2 weeks was 2500 to 2600. I am getting cardiovascular exercise 4-5 times a week.…

I am a dude and I cannot fathom trying to wrangle 4 children and manage any other part of my life. So, big congratulations on the first 5 pounds! You've got to apply some of the Herculean mom patience to your weight loss because changing our habits and managing our health can be like getting a 5 year old to pick up their…

My personal success has hinged on the following things: 1. Food scale. 2. 5-6 calorie intakes a day, opposed to 3-4. 3. Food scale. 4. No soda, pop, juice in the home. I'm just really bad about drinking calories. Went from 40oz a day to about 40oz in 2 months. 5. Protein and fats for breakfast for longer satiated full…

I've got a Samsung Gear S2/ S Health, and run into similar math issues. I use MFP and it's working well for me.

If you have a HRM you could use that. If I forget my HRM, or back when I one, I often use http://scoobysworkshop.com/calories-burned/ -》calories burned by exercise results.

Avocado. Slice in half. Remove seed. Lightly salt and pepper. Eat right or of the shell. The fats and fiber really help trigger a sustained satiation response for me.

Maybe instead of being frustrated at the destination, you look at how far down road you've come? Hooray! What I'm doing is working! Look how much has changed! My goal is in sight! Gotta keep doing what I'm doing!

I've not seen that to be the case with vocal opponents.

Happy baby pose from yoga is sometimes helpful. Also, if the pain only occurs after sleeping in your bed, then it might be time to turn the mattress, or get a new one.

As there is a claim that spinal manipulative therapy has been debunked, here is some research that counters that claim. Here is a Cochrane Review of spinal manipulative therapy (SMT) for chronic low back pain. In summary, it states that SMT appears to be as effective as other common therapies prescribed for chronic…

I think the P90 series has a recommended calorie intake calculation that they use. You may want to look into what that calculation recommends. Are you wearing a HRM during your workouts? That would also give you a good idea of where your calorie burn is at during the workouts. You probably don't want to see that trend…

How are you measuring your calorie intake? Eyeballing, measuring cups, or weighing with a scale? Are you binging on enough to go over your weekly deficit? How long have you been noticing this trend?

That's classic! One more. This is less a diet, more of Grandma being a grandma. Before she passed, when I traveled to the hometown I would stay at her house. This allowed me to spend time with her everyday that I was home. However, Grandma's idea of breakfast for her, my girlfriend, and I was a bit out of proportion. Mind…

@CyberTone, after some more digging it appears that around the same time Android user lost the ability to post images from the app easily, we also lost the functionality to view public, non-friend dairies.

My dad when I was growing up. Supper wasn't supper unless there was a russet potato involved. Mashed, baked, fried. Didn't matter, so long as it was there. Rice, sweet potato, or some other starchy vegetable, along with a protein and some other vegetable? Not supper! I can remember him getting actually angry because supper…

Ah, gotcha. One of those settings that sort of works as advertised. :D

So, beans are a solid. Cups are a liquid measurement. Liquid measurements for beans as a solid are inaccurate because beans absorb a huge difference in water depending on how long you cook them. Grams are a measurement of mass, and you should stick with them for solids, such as beans, rice, cereal, vegetables, fruits,…

The general consensus seems to be do what works best for you. I'm personally great with 5-6 smaller intakes on non-cycling days. Cycling days that might jump to 7 to 10 depending on how far I go. Some people do great with 1-2. The science seems to suggest that neither way, nor any in between method, greatly affects your…
