?baby-backpack a possibility? of course, if you do try this, make sure your son is not carrying candy or anything, as you may end up wearing it

That's awesome, I don't think you have anything to worry about, you should get down that 15 before September without a problem.... and when your little ... ahhemm.... problem passes, you may find yourself instantly significantly lighter  If you need anymore encouragement along the way, feel free to add me.

Wow, sounds like you're doing great being so close to your target, that is fantastic....... I can't wait to get there myself, but at the same time, I guess I'm not in a hurry, I just want to make this way of eating and exercise a habit for the rest of my life

I also set mine at 1 lb per week and I have about 53 in all (have lost 4.5 lbs) my daily calorie goal is 1350. I have manged to loose a little each week I have been on here (about 3 1/5 wks now). I do exercise though. Are you eating all your goal calories every day? Are you able to exercise? You have at least 12 weeks…

Thank you Cherrypie for posting the pictures, that is very encouraging. And if anyone is able to help out a burn victum, that would be a really nice thing to do. Do you know why they like to use the underarm skin (bat wings) as opposed to say 'abdominal tissue)? Oh, just thought too. Cherrypie, when they removed the…

As everyone says, C25k is great, Or you can check out Olympian Runner and gold medalist Jeff Galloway's way of running, which is pretty much like the other, starting with 10 seconds running/2 minutes walking. Interesting and encouraging web site. http://www.active.com/running/experts/jeffgalloway Checking out both of these…

I agree, it doesn't have to be straight water, I also count, tea, coffee, soup (also eat a lot of soup:) Possibly this article can also help. From fruits too, like I also eat at least one orange a day, (tho I don't count it as water, it actually is).…

Yes, I have to agree, the differences/rules here are pretty crazy, especially when compared to the west. Jeddah is a wee bit more relaxed than Riyadh, minimally. I don't have to cover my hair unless told to by a passing Motawa (religious police, for those not familiar), but personally have not been asked. But the family…

Exactly what this lady (Melanie....my name also:) said, I am kinda proof of that, I have been on a totally grain free diet and NO processed foods (unless I process them myself, such as milk into yogurt or ground meat into sausage) for the past two years (for Crohn's disease), and though I was already overweight when I…
