Well done - you are doing great and looking fantastic! I could have written some of your story - especially the part about looking after everyone else but yourself! So easy to do when you have a family. Keep up the good work and hope you get to your goal some time soon x

Well you are obviously missing my point - I have no objection to discussing what I have done and how I have done it but isn't it quite sad how we all think in this day and age the only way to lose weight is by doing a 'diet' ? I would class myself as someone who probably believed that before I proved myself wrong this year!
-
That's the point - I think we all have ! the word Diet is associated with weight loss and really the word diet is what we eat ?

Bag them up and get rid of them! You won't need them will you? I have kept a pair of my fat jeans and every now and then I put them on and shock myself that they once fit! Donate them - and enjoy chosing new ones!
-
Well done! thanks for sharing the pictures - my favourite part of this site! Real people losing real weight. I bet you feel great ( you look it!) Not sure I can see where your other 24lbs are going to go from though - you look great now!
-

After not ever weighing myself for months ( didn't want to face my weight problem ) Now I do nearly every day - although my official weigh in day is a tuesday. I find it help spur me on if it is moving then I know I am doing something, if it isn't I need to do better! It also makes me realise how much my weight can change…
-
Well done you! you look fantastic - so much younger and happier too! I hope that you can inspire others to lose weight the sensible way - no diets and no fads - just a change of lifestyle. I truly hope you can continue your new way of life and your weight stays low - enjoy!
-
Wow!! you look great! well done - bet you are feeling pretty pleased with yourself!
-
My aim is 12 stone (168lbs) remeber being there before and felt pretty normal! As it gets closer I will see what I think - really don't think you can put a number on your goal - a case of getting somewhere where you good. BTW - I am 5'11 - large frame
-
Totally agree - find your worst and look at what you want to get away from! I have spent years avoiding the camera but now I am glad there are a few that sneaked through that I look back at and say OH MY GOD - I never want to be there again!
-
Coming to join you ladies x
-
I know what you mean about avoiding the camera - I had to search through loads to find some - have a dinner dance once a year where there is no avoiding the camera so that helped! It's worth the hunt to inspire yourself - I have been shocked by some photos of myself and now I realise how far I have come!
-
Bet you felt great on he wedding day! you look great!
-
oppps wrong try again!
-
Can still see you arelooking great!
-
Wow you are doing great!
-
Oh thanks that is so kind ! I may agree with you when the next 28lbs go!! Although must admit I felt great on my hols feeling the thinnest I have in years - I didn't spend time avoiding the camera!

I think your height doesn't always reflect build so 5'11 can mean a great range in ideal weights. I would be happy wearing a uk 14, to others this would probably seem huge! But as I said for my build I think it will be right for me. I was around 12 stone when I got married many years ago and I know I felt good there so…
-
Well done & good luck with getting back on track!
-
I am 5'11 ( size 10 uk feet! )and at my heaviest was around 251lbs. When I started my new regime this year I was 233lbs. I got to 192lbs just before my holiday. Gained a few  but back to my good habits this week! Hoping to get down to around 170 - see what i feel like once I am near there! Hope you can see the changes…
