  • I'm sure it's just a plate, not the bowl, as they use oil in their dressings.
  • I've heard that the powder becomes less nutrition at high temps, but mixing some milk in with it first would solve that problem.
  • How dare you suggest cutting back on Taco Bell and Pizza Hut. haha
  • I wish I could "like" ksy1969's post. haha
  • I have to disagree. I used the app a couple of years ago, and would have agreed with you at that point. But now I have used the app for 100 straight days and had maybe 10 items that scanned incorrectly or needed updated information. The database is pretty spot-on, with a few exceptions.
  • I think maybe you should be using a higher protein mix or something. Either way, egg whites are a perfect solution in your case though. For 200 calories, you can have low everything w/ 40g protein.
  • Get some low cal snacks. Healthy or not, the 100 calorie popcorn bags are a lifesaver when you're craving a snack. And you have to treat yourself sometimes or your diet becomes like trudging through muddy bog rather than floating on a sea of fitness. ;)
  • I agree with BigT555. Even if it doubles the calories of the broccoli, it's still just broccoli. You're looking at maybe a 25 calorie difference at worst, and that shouldn't be enough to throw anything off if you're already eating steadily at your daily calorie goal.
  • The easiest way to go is through protein powder. Just throw a scoop in some milk/water/juice and shake it. Egg whites are a phenomenal source of protein too for the record. Personally, I use Whey Isolate powder as it technically allows for better absorption of the protein into your system. Be ready to try and trash some of…
  • Raw food diets are beneficial, but I'd be careful to watch and maintain nutrients as it can be more difficult without supplements or experience in raw dieting. I am vegetarian myself, and it's purely for health reasons. There are numerous benefits to cutting out meat (and some of those same benefits can be gain by LIMITING…

  • I use Whey Isolate powder for everything. No casein or blends except for protein bars or meal replacement bars.
  • There a lot of zero calorie spray oils. Coconut, grapeseed, PAM, etc.
  • Pros: Egg whites are 75% less calories on average than a whole egg (@ 3 tbsp) while maintaining the same amount of protein. They also are cholesterol free, which is a big plus. 100 calories for 20g of protein? So me a protein supplement with that high of ratio. (I'm vegetarian so meat can't apply. lol sorry) Cons: They are…
  • If I'm not drinking water or Powerade Zero, I'm probably drinking Zevia. It's a really good alternative to regular sodas. No HFCS, no artificial sweeteners, no calories, no sugar, no artificial colors (although there is caramel color in some of them, which is debatably dangerous).
