Stick with your home scale. I weigh myself every morning after using the bath room with out clothing and mark the weight on my excel spread sheet. Then typicallly after a week of progress I sum 7 days (fri-thurs) & divide by 7 which gives me my average amount for the week & then subtract that amount from the last starting…

You can try those store brand sugar free oatmeal packets ( around 19carb, 3 fat, 4 protein & 3-5 fiber depending on the flavor - per packet). I love these things, I typically have 3 packets for breakfest everymorning! You can also try having three meals during your time at work. I typically have breakfast at 8-9ish, lunch…

For the price, macros & taste ON is very good! You can get a 2lber at your local GNC for like $28-30 or maybe cheaper at a vitaminshoppe - the lowest I purchased a 2lber was for $26!

No it shouldn't. You just have to make sure the amount of calories you are eating are reasonably under your TDEE.

I weigh and record my weight every morning right after using the bathroom. I like to take the average weight of 7 days to make sue my lose is on the right track. Keep in mind that your weight will fluctuate and you should NOT feel discouraged. I personally feel that if a person is not consistent & truthfull with their…

This TDEE takes into account an estimated figure related to the amount of energy you are using. To lose weight you should be eating 15-20% below your TDEE. For me I have been loosing 1-2 pds a week with this 15% change. I personally & currently like using roughly 35%P, 35%C & 30%F for my macro ratio. Make sure you try to…

285lbs (1X5) @ 170 body weight.. I just started incorporating squats and deads in October. I have been gradually increasing my strength. I fell it's a mental struggle for me to get stuck at the bottom. I have been trying to pass this blockage. I want to be able to rep out 315 sometime in January.

I think about it more as habit that I have grown accustomed too & I think it's pretty fun to do! For me M-F (day to day) are pretty much the same & on weekends I get a bit more creative ;). Some tips that have helped me woul be: Never using the "Search" function from MFP. I like to input the information manually - 85% the…

Curious about this - do many of you rely on the calories that a product has vs. the macro calorie count? For example, "fibe one - 80 calorie" cereal says it has 80 calories per 25 grams of cereal but the macros are 25 carb, *1 fat & 1 protein doesn't this equal (100cal) 25Cx4 + (9cal)1Fx9 + (4cal)1Px4=118 calories? I know…

This is what I am currently doing - Anyone can chime in if they don't agree with my thoughts B) or if they have any other suggestions other then Deficit = weight loss bla bla blaa. Do you know how many calories you need to maintain your current weight? Not the estimate but the actual amount? If not you should try finding…

This happened to me too when I started doing weighted squats. The first day I was semi sore and two days later I could barely go up my steps! It hurt so good  I would say wait another day or so untill the soreness goes away to hit your legs again & instead try working out upperbody. You could however still work your…

Martinel - thats exactly what I do too! I have changed my form & it helped me increase weight

Nice Progress! I do this similar routine. From my understanding the last 1-2 sets should be the hardest since you should be gased out. You should try asking someone to spot you for your last set. For me I usually up the weight for the first and second working set and then lower it back down a few pounds for the last sets.…

Try Quest Protein bar. This will help your cravings and have pretty good macros.

I get that same feeling when I take too much pre-workout. I usually switch between C4 and Jack3d but both gave me that feeling - mess around with the dosage untill you get it right. Try taking the smaller dose like 15 mins prior to your workout.

If you are starting off this might be the better choice than paying 35-60$ montly for gym membership. For 10$ a month this is the best priced gym around and you have all the equiptment you need to do your cardio and its open 24 hours! I have been to this gym a few times with a friend just because it stays open late but I…

Thanks! i'll take a look at these in the office tomorrow. But i have been mainly putting focus on the macros (i.e Protein & Fats, low carbs) not really to focused on the calories per say. This is my ongoing process and I have been adjusting it accordingly. When I really started focusing on the macros and started to eat…

You should try implementing some Quaker oats as a snack. Prior to starting my food tracking I never ate breakfast I would just eat a big lunch and snacks later in the after noon (some may say I'm "starving myself, ah i hate those words, lol. i just never felt too much hunger)....back to topic... Once I started eating more…
