Well, my TOM has been totally out of whack all this year because of the birth control that I'm on. I have pretty much had light to heavy spotting every day for months at a time since February. So I suppose that could have something to do with it, but it hasn't had an effect on my weight loss up until now. The only thing is…

Wrists, arms... I have a wide scoop neck shirt that's supposed to kind of hang on my shoulders, but anymore it's constantly falling way off to one side, I can't keep in on right!

Dexter. That's it.

I think the recommended daily amount is around 2-4 servings.

Sorry, I just got your message, I usually login on my phone and it doesn't show me messages. I can't remember what I was the first week, but I don't believe I lost, just maintained. Oh well there's always next week! Weigh in:152lbs Gotta go get caught up on miles now!

My name is Jordan, I'm 19 but I'll be 20 in three weeks. I just finished up at Chemeketa Community college here, and transferring on to Oregon State to do biology and wildlife studies. Got a lot of animal lovers on here, I love it! I live with my boyfriend of two and a half years and we also have one cat. I'm pretty close…

Great, that is what I'm going for. I know that it's a good cardio workout, but I was afraid that I wouldn't get much toning or definition from it, since it doesn't involve weights or anything. So it's a good ab and core workout, how are you legs and arms looking?

We're always naked, we love it. Just in the bedroom now though, because of roommates. I have a robe to throw on whenever I need to leave the room though.

A couple of things. All through high school I had been between a size 9 and 11(which at the time I thought was kind of big anyway) and this last year I climbed up to a 13. Second, while I have been just on the highest end of my BMI scale my whole life, I got up to 185, in the "overweight" range and started to realize that…

I'm turning 20 in a couple of weeks, and I'm at Oregon State majoring in Bio and Zoology

Sounds good to me. I'm near the end of my weight loss, but I do need someone to keep me accountable for my workouts, I have problems with that. Starting weight: 185lbs Current weight:152lbs Goal weight:145lbs Height:5'10"

After my first 20 or so I went from a size 13 to a 9. I haven't gone shopping again since then, but judging from how my pants feel now I might be more towards a 7 now, which is super awesome since 9 is the lowest I've ever been. Shirts, I started in a large, still a large for some reason, but my shirts just look a lot…

The unsweetened kind does, but the original sweetened version and vanilla both taste more almond-y to me.

Implanon isn't generally recommended for helping to control TOM, because it can either make it stop or make it go completely haywire. I've had mine for about 7 months, and about a month after I got it I started bleeding and didn't stop until I went back to the doctor and she put me on the pill for one month IN ADDITION to…

I'm thinking of starting 30DS, but I'm wondering if I should be doing cardio at the same time or not? Those of you who have done it, did you do it with or without?

I'm 5'10" and I started at 185. I'm 153 now, and I'm shooting for 145. My first goal was 150, but now that I'm pretty much there I want to see what 145 looks like. From there I don't think I'll lose any more but focus on toning and muscle building.

Generally, no. The reason MFP won't give you a daily goal of less than 1200 cals is because it's typically unhealthy to deprive your body that much. That being said, it depends on your size and how much less you're talking about going. Like, if you're a really petite person, say around 5' and you're thinking maybe going to…

If you haven't tried almond milk yet, do it. PureAlmond by Silk has a dark chocolate flavor that totally satisfies my sweet tooth.

Wow. Guess I was all wrong thinking that I'd entered my "healthy" range 20lbs ago! I still have 5 to go, according to you. Nevermind the fact that I'm 5'10", I must be between 120-150!

I got implanon (the arm implant thing) in January, the same month I joined MFP and it hasn't slowed me down at all. My Dr. told me that it wiuldbt cause weight gain or an increase in appetite even, and she was right. The downside (for me, although I hear this is rare) was that I stopped having a TOM, which sounds great…

Is it possible that you weren't eating enough when you were counting? I hear that happens to a lot if people. Happened to me a few months in. I had lost about 20 then pleateaued, and didn't start losing again until I started eating a little more.
-
MFP is set up so that if you tell it that you want to lose a pound a week gives you an allotted amount of calories with the deficit built in, so you don't actually have to subtract anything from the amount that it gives you.

Went for chinese last night after a long day of class and having had time for only 400 cals before dinner. I easily filled up the rest of my calorie requirement with delicious, fried things.

4 days really isn't much of a plateau. I think it's pretty normal to lose quite a bit right out of the gate, and then it levels off. My first 20lbs came off within the first couple months, and since then (in the last 3-4 months) I've only lost another 10, and I've been stuck at 156-159 for at least a month now. I think it…
-
It'll slow eventually. I started with not even that much to lose, around 40lbs, and I lost the first 21lbs in 3 months. Since then, in the last three months, I've only lost about 8lbs.

I weigh almost everyday. Occasionally I skip a day or two. After all the criticism I've heard towards this habit (or obsession, as some would call it) it hasn't hurt me at all. I've been at this for 6 months, lost 30 pounds and several inches. Mostly what people are saying is that you'll probably get discouraged on the…
