Hi there all! I know this is an old-ish thread but I too am on nutrisystem! I started on June 1 at 239 lbs. today I'm 211.7. I feel like a part of my success is counting my caloric intake, which is why I'm here! Nutrisystem's tracking app isn't that great lol. So feel free to add me :)

I have read on here about something called a "fat fast". It is supposed to help people break a weight loss plateau. Another option may be to increase your carb intake by 5 or 10 g. That has worked for me in the past.

I have hypothyroidism. I was diagnosed in October. I originally suspected that I was hypo when I was 19, but my levels were normal at that time. You may not be consuming enough fiber. That is a common side effect when first starting out. Dr. Atkins suggested in his book to take psyllium (sp?) husks to help with the constipation.

Have you tried the polar ft4 hrm? It's pretty informative. It costs about $65 (similar to the price I paid for the fitbit, which I still use) .

I love LS DVDs. I do agree that after awhile if you do the same ones over & over they get boring..so when I start feeling that way,I purchase a new DVD. Now I'm doing 5 really big miles. It's got a toning band. I really like it :)
