thats a good idea....i keep some slimfast around if im in a pinch or really busy....maybe i'll just have one of those. good idea! thanks!

hahahaha i dont know how people take these for fun! ive been prescribed vicodin several times (im accident prone), and every single time, i get so sick taking them! i take them for a few days until the pain is treatable with ibuprofen or tylenol, and then usually pitch the rest. i get so sick, i cant stand it.
-
thank you for your advice....i told my doctor what was going on, and he said to take ibuprofen if the vicodin was making me sick, but it just doesnt touch the pain. im obviously taking a slight break from working out (aside from slow walking), because of the pain, so i figured it would offset my eating.

i dont drink juice; i usually have water and fresh fruit instead. and i don't have any problems with diabetes or anything like that. i just find so much conflicting info; some people say fruit sugar (although not as bad as refined) counts. but the thing is, if two servings of fruit throw me THAT much over my daily…

i got mine at walmart....they are just generic multivitamin gummies for women.
-
i eat two everyday (as per the instructions), and there are 15 calories in a serving of two. i do not log them, and i was curious as to everyone's opinion on the matter....i usually don't log my full exercise though, so i figure that extra 15 calories from vitamins isnt important to log.
-
hahahaha! that is how i am! they are probably the most beneficial 15 calories i take in on any given day
-
that is kind of what i figured...i wasn't worrying about it, because as long as i stay within my caloric boundaries, i am satisfied. i just wasn't sure what the general consensus was for logging them. thank you guys for your answers!!

beans typically are lower in fat than nuts, but they do have a lot of carbs...tofu is also another option. honestly, it seems that most of the protein-packed choices for vegans unfortunately do contain more calories from fat than traditional sources of protein. good luck to you!!!

this is hilarious...and true to every guy i have dated. i put together a list, ask them what they want (if anything), and its usually beer and meat (bacon in particular)
-
me too! bigelow (or lipton) green tea with blueberry and acai is really delicious! i also get the lipton diet green tea with mixed berries, but that does have artificial sweetener in it. and i sweeten my hot tea as well with sweet and low. if you want to skip the artificial stuff, agave nectar, honey, and raw sugar are…

i wish my binging was only 3/4 a bag of pepperoni.... i had an emotionally rough weekend, and as an emotional eater, i went a little nuts. i ate pasta, pizza, regular salad dressing, popcorn chicken, fries, and ice cream. plus probably some other stuff. and i feel like complete crap today. its human to screw up once in a…

i agree with some of the other posts....you should try to eat your carbs in the morning...but if you are trying to limit them, one of my favorite protein packed breakfasts is scrambled egg whites w/ spinach and fat free cheese, and some turkey bacon. its pretty filling, tastes good, and not loaded with carbs. good luck to…

i have two kids, so i get some easy to make kid food along with my healthy stuff. typically, my grocery list is as follows: bananas apples carrots celery lettuce grapes strawberries spinach 1 or 2 cans of blue diamond almonds (we like honey roasted and smokehouse) arnold multigrain sandwich thins roasted turkey lunch meat…

thank you so much! i will have to pick some up...i suppose i COULD just make my own salad. it would probably be cheaper....but i am a realist, and i love convenience. thanks for your feedback!!!
-
i try not to eat them everyday, but i do enjoy them. its an easy and convenient meal. yeah, there is a good bit of sodium. but as long as you dont have any health issues, drink plenty of water, and exercise, you should be fine. the healthy choice meals are super good too....some of them even give you dessert!
-
i feel you...im an emotional eater too. the best advice i can give, is try to relax, stay happy, and treat yourself. the fiber one 90 calorie brownies are actually pretty good...or slice up a banana with 1 tbsp honey and a litte cinnamon...it's suprisingly good, and gives you the satisfaction you get from eating something…
-
im the same way. i work in a chocolate shop, and could care less about sweets. but i love salty stuff!!!! sodium does make you retain water, but you can sweat that out. just be careful how much you use, cause it can affect different aspects of your health. everything in moderation. salt your food. just dont go crazy. good…

chinese....i could eat nothing but chinese food. so, i get the frozen asian style dinners....lean cuisine and healthy choice both have a few asian meal options. its not the same as takeout, but its good enough. pizza too. we went out for pizza the other night, and i figured out you can have two slices of pizza hut medium…

people need to start taking responsibility for what they put into their own bodies. i am overweight, and its no one's fault but my own. i CHOSE to eat crappy. and with restaurants having their nutritional info available online, people have access to it. their ads might be misleading, but if people really think eating at…

i dont think many people are too concerned with going over their sugar goal a little bit; especially if you are getting your sugars from fruits. if you want to keep your intake low, try cutting out other items first, like breads, rices, oatmeal, etc. you've already lost 41 pounds, so you must be doing something right! just…

i get the fizzy flavored waters at the grocery store, and i also use mio. both are zero calories, and although they may not be all-natural, i've had absolutely no side effects from drinking either of them. i usually drink 4 bottles of water/day, and then after ive had my recommended amount of plain water, i jazz it up a…

frozen veggies!!!!! if possible, try shopping at aldi's....they have great prices, if you don't mind eating generic stuff. they have a lot of off-brand items that are comparable to big name things, like special k fruit crisps, and all kinds of stuff like that. or even walmart. i've been on a tight budget for years.…

as long as your sugars are mostly coming from fruits (a small apple takes up over half of my sugar each day), and lean proteins, it shouldn't be a problem going over...i go over, and i have been losing weight just fine. now, i wouldnt go over it you are eating a bunch of processed sugars, obviously....if you want to try to…

have you considered the frozen dinners (lean cuisines, healthy choice, etc.) or progresso light soups? im a busy single mom with two kids, and i do cook pretty often, but some days i just don't feel like it. and those are my go-to options. also, sandwiches made at home are way cheaper than subway all the time. i like lean…

if it isn't interfering with your weight loss, and it makes you feel good drinking it, keep drinking it. i'm a firm believer in that you only have one life, and if your biggest guilty pleasure is a glass of chocolate milk, then you arent doing too bad. good luck!!
-
i ignore it...fruit is good for you. plus, the more you exercise, the more grams of sugar you can have a day, if you want to stay below what they say you can have. another option, if you want to stay below the recommend amount, is to cut back on other items you eat that contain sugar: bread, rice, etc. good luck!

i've had the japanese ones made out of yams....they are ok in stir-frys, but kind of slimy...and they smell really bad. pasta is my weakness too....honestly, spaghetti squash is your best bet....or, if you can find the brocolli slaw in the produce department. it comes bagged, and you can boil it and use it as a substitute.

i drink diet pop almost every day...usually not more than a can or two. and i've also heard the rumors that its harmful...upon further research, it seems like for it to really hurt you, you would have to drink 36 cans of diet pop a day....for years. that is 432 oz, or 54 glasses of water a day. do you drink that much?…

if it makes you feel any better, i work in a bulk chocolate store. at work, i open up a 20-30 pound of bulk food (chocolate peanuts, zagnut bars, pretty much any kind of candy a girl could want), and rebag it into 1-pound bags. i am constantly around candy and salty, fatty snacks. ALL DAY, EVERY DAY. i pack my lunch…
