  • Just got mine a few days ago and I love it! Feel free to add me, leeremi01@gmail.com :)
  • Awesome, thank you!
  • Thanks all so much, you've been very helpful! Jen, I just messaged you. We have the same stats and I'd love to talk!
  • I guess I also have a question- what should I expect? As in, will I gain a bit before I start losing (if this is the solution?)
  • I definitely plan to continue weighing myself weekly to track my progress. My plan was to be a bit looser with the logging and not beat myself up if I missed a day or two, but if I saw the numbers start creeping up again, then I'd buckle down and be strict with myself again.
  • As a college student, I know how you feel. My shorts all started fitting like diapers because they were so big. I went to Forever 21 and found 2 really nice pairs for $13.80 each, which really isn't bad. Besides that I've been asking friends if they have old clothes they don't want, or something I can borrow, even if it's…
  • I put on 1.7 in a 2 week vacation. I didn't count calories, but I still made health conscious decisions. Did I really need to eat the entire bowl of poutine by myself, or could I split it with the rest of my family? Have fun on your trip!
  • 5'7" here. SW: 159 CW: 139 GW: 135, though now that I'm so close to it I might bump it down to about 130... Feel free to add me, I log every day and am used to living on a cheap budget (college student probs)! Edited for spelling
  • Fried egg, baby spinach leaves, avocado slices, and sprinkle some feta on it. Heaven.
  • Hey! I'm 5'6 1/2. SW: 159 CW: 142 GW: 135, but I might bump it down a bit once I get there. Feel free to add me, my diary's always open!
  • Awww thanks guys :)
  • French braids have been such a lifesaver. I found that ponytails would come out because of the bouncing motion, but the french braid stays put. It's amazing.
  • http://www.starbucks.com/menu/nutrition/20-under-200 Have fun!
  • I guess some of you missed in my post that I know that my weight gain was caused by questionable food choices, so that's that haha. I was just curious about whether or not it was possible in general  Edit: I started running a few weeks ago and increase intensity dramatically, so the theories that I'm retaining water…
  • When I look at my sugar count for the day I always subtract however many grams come from fruit. If the difference is below the recommended number, I'm good. Just don't count natural sugar (that comes from things like fruit) into your allowance.
  • Mine's always open! Feel free to look, especially if you need fast, cheap, easy, and HEALTHY meals, I'm a college student so those are a necessity. Good luck, don't hesitate to shoot me a message if you have any questions!
  • I think I found your problem: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/diary/zummerzet_lou?date=2013-07-28 I think you might want to take a look at your portion sizes, as well as what you eat. Even on days that you stay within your calorie limit, a lot of the foods you're eating simply aren't good for your body. For example,…
  • You can absolutely lose more than 1 pound per week. Just make sure that you're eating at least 1,200 calories, even if it means eating back the calories you lose when you exercise!
  • 1200 calories is the minimum number of calories you should be eating a day. Since you said you wanted to lose 2 pounds a week, MFP chose the lowest number of calories possible so you could lose the weight quickly. However, in order to actually lose 2 pounds a week, you'd have to be eating much less than 1200 calories a…
  • Not sure about you all, but I know that in my case part of it is me saying to myself "you know, 15 pounds isn't that much", not really understanding that if it took 3 months for me to lose it, I won't be able to put it back on overnight. This was especially true at the beginning, when the numbers were still small.
  • I think a lot of it has to do with mental barriers. While we really want to lose the weight, it's hard to actually accept that it's happening.
  • In the process of packing all my stuff up to either take home or store for the summer. It's amazing what you can fit in half of a dorm room :) Worst: Actually getting up and doing it all, trying to find a way to fit everything into boxes, deciding what to take home and what to store, then having to unpack ALL of it when I…
