The zipper will tell but I believe your saddle pouch is upside down. The curved portion (top) should taper down to the seat post.

Blew a tire and damaged my wheel so I was down a bike for one week. Rode my MTB for the duration but no long distances and now a rainy weekend ahead so I doubt I will make my goal. No biggie. I was able to ride the UCI road course last night I then watched the pro riders ride it today. Pretty cool. 9/01 - 09.01 @ 17.5 mph…

Fans blasting on trainer sessions aren't an option, they're a requirement.

Amazingly, no crash. Also no idea how it happened... Aside from the really loud explosion it was rather quick and calm. I was climbing a slight grade and I pulled right over. I think I hit the brakes too hard though and skidded the wheel on pavement.

Being plagued with minor outdoor riding mishaps this year, I really don't mind the trainer either. But I DO make it as enjoyable as possible. Set up right in front of my 55" TV with a windtunnel running on high and either a very engaging TV show or ride along cycling video from youtube. And now, Zwift! My threshold is 45…

Thanks, Noel! Weight is of little concern to me so hopefully these ship out soon. Until then, it's MTB time. Also, Richmond is really hopping right now! Lots of teams being spotted out on the roads. BMC today, UHC, many others. If you want to see some of the photos and posts on Facebook, join the 'Friends of RABA' fb group.

Thanks for the nod guys. I wish I had put up an even larger number but in the last week I had a 4 day hiatus due to a saddle issue that had to be ironed out before a century ride, I just couldn't jeopardize that ride. All in all, great fun and congrats to everyone that took part and to the whole Team Pastana!!!

Get him some padded shorts and some loose fitting basketball shorts to go over them. Problem solved.

Your body, especially the tender regions need to get reacquainted with cycling again. Just keep ramping up the saddle time. It will go away.... Get some padded cycling shorts. And I don't mean walmart/amazon el cheapo's either. Canari and Sugoi both make some awesome shorts. If you get chaffing, look it to getting some…

Tolerable... I tried a new saddle last week and it was too firm so I went back to my old one, lubed up good with butt'r before the stop then with antibiotic ointment at each rest stop. Still some rubbing in the one particular spot but for 104 miles it wasn't bad at all. I know you've seen it, Joe. But here is the ride…
-
The ride is complete. I did 104 miles in 6:04 riding time so just over 17mph avg and 3,400 feet of climbing. Almost all solo miles too. Other riders were either faster or slower than me so no drafting. Being a supported ride really helped as 4 rest stops along the way had all the provisions one would need to keep energy…

I have a 10 day supply, I am hoping that will eradicate the infection. I rode to work for the first time today. Albeit on my MTB with a different, more rigid saddle. I applied butt'r before I left and I felt fine when I got here. No tenderness or abrasion. I do take ibu to help with arthritis in my knee. When browsing, I…

I've been off the bike for almost 4 days now. The surface layer of skin is healed, No weeping or discharge or anything,. which there never really was any (gross, I know... TMI) Just the lumps deep down which seem to be subsiding so I guess the antibiotics are working to kill off the bacteria and shrinking the affected…

Sorry I have been MIA this week, Pastana. I'll try to get some slow miles in on the MTB tonight and tomorrow while my roadie is getting tuned for the big ride on Saturday.

Thanks for the info and encouragement. This has been a record setting year for me and I absolutely loathe the fact that this has been the thorn in my side almost the entire time. I'd probably be a little more ok with it if it was a more common occurrence but every rider I talk to seems to be problem free which leaves me…

My co-worker that also rides said the same exact thing today! :grimace:

The saga continues.... well the sores are back. 2 of them. Same right side. Went to a different, more comprehensive, shop and was able to determine my left leg is shorter than my right. Probably causing some saddle rocking. Took some steps to offset the difference. Tried a new saddle but after riding 100+ miles this…

Oh no! Unexpectedly losing a pet is terrible. I wish you both the best. Please take time to read the 'Rainbow Bridge' poem.
