In theory the hotter your body the more calories you burn. The difference would be pretty minimal though.

It helps you lose water and salts. So if you were trying to make weight for a fight say you would dehydrate your body. For a normal person trying to lose fat it wont do anything.

This is why they say not to weigh yourself every day. Your weight will naturally go up and down a bit day to day. It could be the difference between having an extra glass or water. Just weigh in once a week.

How many calories are you eating a day? You say you're trying to gain weight in a healthy way but you also say you've stopped exercising. So you're generally going to gain fat not muscle...

All of those measure are pure guesses. You need to use calipers and pinch the fat. I think where you are at the moment you should just look at your weight.

Any meat is ok, all depends how much fat you require in your diet though.

1g of protein per lb of body weight should be your minimum target. So you're probably way below what you should be aiming for.

More likely you'll be flushing the salts out of your system that the "juice fast" probably wont replace. Therefor you'll be holding less water.

Try to make lifestyle changes rather than 10 day fad diets. Your losses will probably be mostly water and muscle rather than fat.

Extra virgin olive oil. Regular olive oil is a better option for frying.

Just remember kids need quite a lot of calories for their size as they grow so quickly, sometime "healthy" options just are calorific enough for their growth.

Your cals are too low for that much exercise.

Ignore the fads just stick to your cals and marcos and you'll lose fat. Figure out a diet that fits your lifestyle.

It's mental weakness. If you really want to change you will. When you're about to eat something you shouldn't actively think, do i really want to.

Buy whey is pretty much the cheapest protein source, surely you can afford the cheapest?
