This. For me, those foods are high-protein foods: pumpkin protein pancakes, peanut butter/pb2, Greek yogurt, cheese, beans, meat, high protein cereals, etc. They keep me away from the kitchen for hours, without even thinking about food (really!) and I'm historically an overeater (to the extent that I'm about 5-10 pounds…

Was it extra hot outside? That can make a moderate run feel like you're gonna die (if you're like me). A seven-miler in the summer is harder for me than a 12-miler in the winter, and I've just had to accept that and plan accordingly.

My stats are similar to yours: 5'3", 117 pounds, working on body recomposition through a body weight lifting program 4x per week for about 3 weeks now. (I also run 10-15 miles per week.) Finally this week I increased my protein due to being constantly ravenous, going over calories at least twice a week (by a LOT), and…

For a while, I was getting scary symptoms after long runs of 7+ miles - blurred vision ("aura"), loss of concentration, and even word-finding difficulty on one occasion. After extensive work ups by my PCP and by a neurologist, I was diagnosed with "atypical migraine" (even though I had no pain). It seemed to be triggered…
