Here's one. I have tried a couple of Peta recipes before and they were good but here they give a 2 week meal planning guide. http://www.peta.org/living/vegetarian-living/two-week-vegan-meal-plan.aspx

Hi there, I feel your pain. I've spent my whole life listening to a thin relative making "little remarks" and I've never learned to live with it gracefully. I finally feel that I am on track and would love to be there with you on your journey. Have a good day.

Fabulous! You look so good and excited about your loss too!

You look lovely in both pics but I can see the extra material in the stomach area. The dress works and so did you!

Sounds terrific. I'm gonna try this when some vegan chicken breasts. It just might work. Thank you for a great recipe and idea.

Thanks for this topic. I am not at goal yet but will have to think about maintenance soon hopefully and I am trying to be pro-active about it and learn about maintenance before I am actually "out there without a paddle". My weight has gone up and down all my life, and the majority of it I was heavier than I was happy with.…

Thanks for the great links. I have added the tv series to my favourites for further viewing. The one on sugary foods I intend to watch after walking over to get my coffee (black) and coming back with it to settle down for a bit. Much appreciated.

HI, I had no idea what konjac was so thought I would look into it. I have tried something called miracle noodles in the past and thought it might be the same thing. I don't think it is though. Anyway, below is a direct quote from Livestrong.com on the side effects of the konjac root. You may or may not be interested. The…

When I reconsidered my vegetarian diet, I chose to go vegan. I never did lose weight just by changing to either vegetarian or vegan. I had to watch portion size just like everyone else. I also had to increase my exercise. However, one book that helped me take more control of my eating was a book entitled Salt Sugar Fat by…

Go for it! You can do this. Friend me if you'd like.

Hugs back! Congratulations on your amazing achievement. You are an inspiration.

I have definitely experienced no cravings since starting my current weight loss program utilizing the 5:2 (new lifestyle forever). I have not been eating white bread, potato chips (my downfall) and white sugar. I am definitely finding it easy to stay on track because the urge to eat the junk seems to have finally left the…

Every superlative used above to describe you and your accomplishment are spot on. Keep up the tremendous work and effort.

I agree with the healthy calorie deficit, cardio and exercise thing. My waist is my problem area too and it is very important to make sure that it doesn't lead to diabetes down the road, so I have to keep on it. There is no way that you can healthily lose a lot of weight in 10 days, certainly not targeting your waist only…

I think you should see your doctor. You may have wheat sensitivity that is causing you discomfort or you may have other medical issues such as a gall bladder problem. Mine was removed at 21 and I only had one attack but actually had six stones. I hope you find your answer. It's no fun to be in pain every day.

Good for you for starting over. This whole changing thing takes time but as you said takes 21 days to make a habit. Use that as your first goal and maybe that will help. All my best to you.

You look incredible. Absolutely beautiful.

I have to agree with everything said above. You are truly inspirational, amazing, beautiful and uplifting. Thank you so much for your post. It reminds me that I'm a long way from over the hill at 61. There's a ton of living left to enjoy. Thanks again.

Thank you so much. Very inspiring and also very true. Your life is worth the effort.

I have been following this diet since April 2013. I feel happy, energetic, pain free and health. My last fast day was yesterday and I had no trouble staying under 500 cals. Usually I make sure to have the whole 500 but yesterday, just wasn't happening. Still had a really health day.

I won't judge. We are all here because we have weight to lose. I will however have comments from time to time if you seem to be getting off track and might need some reinforcement. I have friends and family who are diabetic. My best friend is legally blind and diabetic. Her eating habits make me cringe sometimes but I shut…

I absolutely agree with this.

1 blue menu vegan chicken breast would give your 24 grams of protein. 80 of iron. I love them. 160 cals.
