You can lose weight eating anything, with reason....and if you're staying within the calorie goal, you shoule be fine....food is not inherently evil....besides, if you give up what you love, you'll binge or break....enjoy it, keep it moderate

Get on a bkie, even slow meandering around town is good, and it takes the pressure off your knee. Also, yoga, pilates, or tai chi, all can be easily modified for any joint problems.
