I saw for the first time in September at the Sioux Falls Half/Full Marathon. It made numerous runners laugh! (I was volunteering and was put outside the state prison so another lady held "run like you stole something" - not my favorite sign but timing since we were in the parking lot of the prison)

I'm running the Dopey Challenge in January. The course does have plenty of boring spots but I don't mind them. There are plenty of people around me if I need entertainment I people watch while I run lol

Had a baby 9 months after I graduated high school. Then hubby (boyfriend at the time) got leukemia and was giving two years to live. We put everything on the back burner and lived life. Then he went into a blood remission and we're now trying to get back a healthy lifestyle in the mix of a crazy busy life (plus he stills…

I'm getting back to running after taking a long break after a surgery. I'm in South Dakota so my training will be moving indoors in a couple months. I've run 6 half marathons and 3 full marathons. (3 Goofy Challenges) I'm a busy person who tends to let life get in the way of my training. Trying hard to stay on track and…

We plan our weekly meals on Sunday. Some we make on Sunday and freeze for later in the week. Some days we use the crock pot to make it easy. We're busy so anything to make it easier is the perfect for us!

I'm training currently for the Wine & Dine half and Dopey Challenge. I agree the prices are crazy but I love Disney. I've run: Goofy Challenge 2011-2012-2013, Disneyland Half 2012, Wine & Dine 2011, Tower of Terror 2012, and did a 5K in 2011 with my family. I'm marking off the Dopey but as of right now hubby and I plan to…

Congrats on signing up for your first marathon! I've run 5 half marathons and 3 full marathons. (3 Goofy Challenges) I'm training for my first Dopey Challenge but struggling to find my love of running again. I use the Jeff Galloway program 3:1 or 4:1. I'm not fast and my PR (personal record) is 2:19 for a half. I'll be…

I started the program in 7/8 but got off track after the first couple weeks. I started back on 8/13 and working on to stay on track. I love it's only 25 minutes. It's the first DVD program I've bought and loved! I look forward to the workouts.

We're best friends and tell each other everything (no secrets). We respect each other and have an odd sense of humor with each other. Many people look at us like we nuts but we get it!

We're huge Disney fans. We always joke if we won the lottery we'd take our family and friends to Disney. After taking care of bills and family we would invest. We would also be sure to set aside some for local charities we support. We'd give back to American Cancer Society and Lymphoma Leukemia Society for the support…

I hate the dreadmill! I find the first few miles is mentally hard but once I get past that I don't want to stop. Plus knowing I have the Dopey in January makes me want to get my miles done.

Hide them in dishes to start. My kids love having a dish of veggies and then make faces with them. We'll also build a train using celery, raisins, and peanut butter. Anything to make it fun.

mentally in Hawaii but my body is in South Dakota

At first it was hard and I hated it. However I looked at it as a challenge and now I love it. If I get bored I change up the area I'm running in or my playlist.

I try not to "take away" anything . However I personally struggle with sweets. I find I keep it as a special treat or avoid it. I hope once I'm better at self control and making better choices it will be easier to allow sweets. I become a monster once I get my fingers on them so I stay away.

I thought I'd experience feeling horrible about myself when I visited last fall. I figured with everyone looking slim and fit it would bother me. However the only thing that bothered me was getting jealous of the beautiful hills that I'd love to have access to daily for walking or the beach for relaxing. They're human too…

He has to avoid a lot of drinks and food while overseas. He has a low immune system due to leukemia. He relies on a lot of what he can carry since he gets sick often from fresh fruit/veggies or water overseas. This will be his longest trip for him so he's a little nervous. He will be in a low populated area and wont have…
