  • I hear ya. Anyone is free to add me if they'd like. I'm on daily!
  • Always want more friends! Anyone is free to add me.
  • My doctor calculated my TDEE (1760) and then added 500 calories to that when I was nursing full time. She said at the very minimum to eat 2,000. You should absolutely talk to your doctor first though!
  • Yes! I love audio books when I'm working out. I'm using OverDrive as well and I'm currently listening to "One Second After" by William R. Forstchen. It's a kind of apocalyptic type. I haven't gotten very far but it's been interesting.
  • Great thread! I'd rather not say my name. I'm turning 26 in 6 days (yikes). I've lost 25 lbs already and I have another 65ish lbs to go. I've got two adorable daughters and really need to get this weight off so I can play with them without getting tired after 2 minutes.
  • Anyone can add me. I'm a daily logger with an open diary.
  • Thank you to those that have replied! I am planning on seeing a dietitian and a diabetes specialist. I have appointments with them both, I just can't see them until next week and wanted to start getting my diet controlled. Thank you for recipes and information! I'll definitely look into it all.
  • Thanks for this! Quick question, is the serving (1 cup) uncooked or cooked? I'm a pretty big pasta lover too but pasta doesn't love my hips!
  • Hey! I'm a mother of one and a half. I'd love to be friends and help motivate. Anyone is free to add me if they'd like. :)
  • I'm 25 and looking to lose about 85-90 more lbs. Already lost 15. Anyone is free to add me if they'd like. I'm on daily and super active.
  • I hear ya. This is my second and with my first I gained 65 lbs. I had the stupid mindset of "I'm eating for two!" and really went with it. I'm still trying to lose that baby weight as well as make sure I don't gain any with this one.
  • You've got this! Just be sure to measure and weigh your food and drink and you'll do just fine. It takes a while but it'll stick and you'll feel great.

  • I have a good 80 lbs to lose myself! We can do this!
  • Day 9 here. I had to take a two day break because I messed up my foot... and I think I made it worse by working out again today! I'm a bit worried to go to the second level. I hear it's way harder than the first one and I'm still struggling a bit with the first level. Doing better than I was on day one, but still!
  • I still really hate the side lunges anterior raise but everything else is going well!
  • Today I realized I was doing the side lunges wrong! Completely and totally wrong. i wasn't sticking my butt out very much and my knee was going over my toes. ugh, figured that the one thing I'm really having trouble with I've been doing wrong the whole time and once I started doing them correctly they only got harder!…
  • Day 5 here. it's getting easier! I swear it is. Keep it going everyone. I hear you about the squat and press, I still have some difficulty with it but I've noticed some huge improvements there as well. I'm able to do 20 now (including the small break I take in the middle). Even just yesterday I wasn't able to do that many.
  • I'm on the 4th day now and it's rough! I had to take a rest day after day two because I was worried I pulled something. I can use 5 lb weights for everything except the side lunge where we bring the weights up to our eyes on the third circuit. For that I have to use 2 lb weights otherwise it's just too hard for me.

  • I want to lose inches and gain some muscle! I've always done cardio workouts so it's about time I add some strenght training and abs into the mix! I don't just want to be thin, i want to be -strong-!
  • Not going to lie, already on day 3 and I've got to say I feel like I'm dying! It's going to be totally worth it though!
  • 1. 220 2. -1.6 3. All days except one i stayed under my calorie goal. 4. To finish making up for my one day where I went over. 5. 26 lbs to go.
  • 1. 221 2. Lost 1.6 lbs. 3. I ate under my goal every day and worked out twice. 4. Lose at least 1 lb (hopefully 2). Drink more than 8 cups of water each day. Exercise 3 times a week for at least 20 minutes each. 5. I want to be under 200 lbs by Christmas. Hopefully at 194.
  • I just recently updated my goals to lose 2 lbs a week which allows me 1240 calories. My plan is to eat those or stay under them every single day. If I go under I'm not going to "save" those calories for another day which I have been guilty of in the past. I'm going to make much better selections on what foods I eat…
  • Hello all, I'm Nadine. I've always been overweight but ever since having a baby (two years ago) I added on a bunch of weight that I haven't been able to shed at all. I'm very interested in making new friends on here and I'm active every day. I'm currently 224 lbs and my goal is to get down to 135. I miss being able to…
  • I'm in! My calorie goal is 1240. Not looking forward to that, but I am looking forward to getting a few new skinnier clothes for Christmas! :)
  • Thank you so much! This is very helpful for a newbie like me! I've seen all the horror stories where people are eating under 1000 calories and lot losing anything and didn't want to fall into the same trap.
  • This may not be the best motivator, but when I've eaten all of my calories and I'm still hungry I drink a bunch of water to "fill" up my stomach and go work out. I figure out what I want to eat and how many calories it will cost me and exercise for how ever long I need to to earn them.
