  • Yups... I am the queen of binge eating. Please feel free to add me ..... that goes for anyone that needs the support. The more the merrier!
  • I definitely count the chips the first time. If it is pita chips, I can estimate a serving without counting- because I eat those more often.

  • Magnesium supplement is the way to go... take it regularly to stay "regular". Magnesium helps with so many other things too... mood and absorption of other vitamins
  • I always wanted to be a princess... but my second choice... program manager for an aerospace manufacturing company. Basically, I sell airplane parts. I also started back to school a few months ago to work on my degree in Business Admin.
  • I like the homemade hummus idea. I do plain greek yogurt with just a drizzle of sesame oil and some fresh garlic. Very simple but also tasty. :)
  • Great stuff...... I think with anything there should be moderation and balance.
  • Thank you for the information- that was definitely a good read, even though I am still a bit skeptical and will have to discuss with my doctor and nutritionist. I do have high cholesterol so can't take any chances. This board has been very uninformative- I am so glad I started checking out the message boards here. :)
  • I would be really happy to find out I can skip the egg white omelets and go for the real thing :) Does anyone have any resources for me on this eggs vs cholesterol theory being debunked? Not trying to disagree, but every bit of info from my doc and other resources (http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/cholesterol/HQ00608/ is a…
  • LOVE Laurel K Hamilton... great stuff. I read a lot. Right now it is "The Power of Habit", by Charles Duhigg....but usually I will read a few chapters of the practical book, then switch to read a few smutty novels over a couple of days... then back to the practical or challenging. My reading tastes vary based on my moods.
  • I would check with her family doctor. My son is 14 now, but has been a member at our gym for a couple of years now, with no problems. Just to be sure I talked to his doc, who cleared him. The important thing, I was told, is to make sure the child understands their own physical limitations, and signs of exhaustion and…
  • I met him online.... we had all the same interests. I love music... he sings and plays guitar. I love movies... of course he does too. We talked on the phone for hours and texted about our favorite things and our views of life. I met him for a movie.... Zombieland. It was dark, but he seemed to shake a lot. Very nervous…
  • Yups.. what they said. Not saying drop him like a hot rock, but I am saying that unconditional love is real and very possible. You don't have to be perfect for someone to love you unconditionally... just perfect in their eyes. And whatever faults you have would be accepted as part of who you are (unless you are a crazy ax…
  • You can add me if you like... I only jumped back on the train in the last few days but I intend to stay on for the long haul! :) I can use all the inspiration I can get, and am not afraid to give support. :)
  • Yay! I am into my third day back on.. this time I have actually used the resources from the site. Reading all of the posts with suggestions and support has been terrific and the food diary is so simple. I haven't spent as much time searching for foods as with other apps. Great stuff! Keep up the good work and enjoy your…
  • I love really spicy food but found that some chilies give me evil headaches.... and sugar makes me all stuffy nosed and miserable if I have too much. Nothing makes me die... well so far.
  • LOVE it! I have been trying to think of a reward for myself... this will go in the list of possibilities. :)

  • Loved the series.. and for the right guy I'd sign anything :)
  • Does saying that you should add me mean I'm admitting to being middle aged? ;)
  • It's never too late! I am a 39 year old single mother who works full time and goes to school. I am not going to lie, it is challenging to balance it all--- but you can do it! :)
  • Here I thought I held the record for most career changes! :) I started in the restaurant biz in my teens; was a telemarketer and later worked at a Jenny Craig, where I saved up for my first car. When I was 19 I found sales, and sliced, diced, and mopped my way through the pitch business, working fairs and home shows. At…
  • LOVE ch-ch-ch-chia! I am usually adding them to my drinks.. water or iced tea (excellent in Tazo Passion tea). But I had some chia pudding made with coconut milk that was delish. I also have it in my yogurt or my smoothies sometimes.. but have to let it sit for a couple minutes since I like them best when they have gelled…
  • Welcome! I am great with the food (though still trying to fix the cravings). It is the exercise I have a hard time with. It's always good to have others as support in both areas!
  • My appetite goes crazy on Prednisone! Mostly I crave snack food when taking stuff like that... if you are like me and fill up easily on the fruits and veggies for snacks, but still crave the snacking "activity", unsalted pumpkin or sunflower seeds helps me out. If I do one at a time (and still make sure to measure out how…
  • Way to go on your weight loss so far! (and thanks for being motivated to serve in the military :). I am new too... but just starting out (again). Best of luck to you!
