I'm pretty sure I lost my appetite... so I am commenting first as a EWWWWWWW, and thanks for the laugh, but secondly, so that if I crave a snack I shouldn't have, I can simply bring up this post.

Confident... I also love the message on your ticker thing- "when I get sad, I stop being sad, and be awesome instead".. we should totally hang out lol.

I log my food by MFP's clock- makes it easier. I just had two cheese sticks- ugh... I had room for more on Saturday, but it is Sunday now for me, so it goes on Sunday.

So inspiring. Thank you so much for sharing.

solarpower03 & TitanGM... don't change a thing! :)

I love TJ's... Just Mangos (dried mango with no added stuff) is my favorite, but I also love that they carry pumpkin seeds in the shell year round at a reasonable price.

And what she said :) well stated VitaraWil

Definitely! In so many ways... sure the food tracking is important, and I learn from my history, but I log in every day for the people here. There are so many inspirational and knowledgeable people here, that want the same thing I do- to be healthy. I log in every day for that.

I LIKE vanilla usually- but wasn't really fond of the Jay Robb either.
-
Weird that it tasted gross- that is a pretty standard shake - what brand did you get? If you try other variations and still come out yucky- do a 50/50 split with your chocolate to get rid of the vanilla. Just a thought. Vanilla is my old stand by- cuz you can mix berries or greens or whatever, and usually comes out tasty.…

Feel free to add me, Nicole- if only because you have such a great name! I have more than 50 to lose- so will be around for a long time... :) Regards, ~Nicole

Yuppers! It takes time and work to figure out all the details... (I know this because I have still got a ton to learn). Forgive yourself. Start with a fresh slate right now- Keep coming back, keep logging, and continue to work hard. We can do this!!!

My teenage son saved his money for the $220 kayak at Fred Meyer for the hard plastic- sit on top kind. He says the shorter the kayak, easier to maneuver- longer kayaks go faster, but are harder to get going. He loves it! Last summer we took it up to Baker lake here in WA State- and he did some mini rapids on one of the…

You are an inspiration! I am excited to someday share my before and after pics now! :) Way to go!

I was told this very thing several times before my husband finally passed in 2010. Our entire life together was with the expectancy that he would not be around to see our child graduate high school or get married. So he and my son played ninja... we had Christmas and celebrated birthdays... though we never knew which time…

I have my diary public and I log EVERYTHING... even the stuff I feel ashamed to admit. It helps me to be accountable for my choices. Otherwise, it is easy for me to shuffle stuff under the rug. AND I love to hear suggestions on my choices...(though nobody has been brave enough here yet) I may not always follow the advice,…

Excellent job! I can't wait to post a pic like that of myself! Way to go!

Oh no! I'm in the wrong place! Seriously though... part of learning to make healthy choices is learning to be confident in who you are. I considered leaving my pic out, but want to be true to myself. Plus, doesn't it make it nice when reading someone's post, to be able to see their smiling face? It is much easier to…

I have been asking that same question of my friends lately. Here is what one of my friends sent me that I am going to try... though I will likely be careful with the oil.... Strip leaves from stem, put it on baking a baking sheet, drizzle and rub in a bit of olive oil on each piece, add salt and pepper or any spice you…

What she said... I only have 2 people on my friends list that I know in the daylight, and neither is active. But in the last 10 days that I became active again here, I have given and received a ton of support. If you put yourself out there, and keep supporting everyone in a positive way, it will come back to you--- MFP…

hehe that is awesome...

I had sex twice too, but woke up frustrated. :ohwell: I logged into MFP every single stinking day last week, and logged every tasty morsel of food that passed my lips! I was on vacation from work all week, so that made it less of a challenge to start- but yay me, I did it.

haha AWESOME.. I love days like that!
