Yes, I've been here since mid-Jan..6 months and only 25 lbs gone. But it's better than 0 lbs... It gets frustrating though.

I thought that the new SILK Soy and protein fruit drinks were good for you until someone here ripped me a new one for drinking it and told me that's the reason I was on a plateau..

If you are toned, etc, and at the lower end of the healthy weight range for your height, why, pray tell do you feel the need to lose 10-15 lbs then and go into the "underweight" category? Is it so you can have the "vanity" number of being under 125lbs? If you do pilates, that builds toned muscle so, I think a few of us are…

Why would you even be worrying about 4 pounds???

Wow she is AMAZING looking! When I think of the ideal body of what I'd like to have, that is absolutely what comes to mind. I don't need a 6 pack or to be "cut"...I just need to be firm and curvy.

How about you add the NASCAR Championship race on 11/18/12 and The Daytona 500 on 2/24/2013 :-) I'd "like" to be total 40 lbs down by the end of the season and another 10 lbs down by D500- That is if I don't have any more 3 month plateaus :-(

I'm a Misplaced Texan also, from Grapevine (outside of Ft Worth) and currently living in NE Pennsylvania..have only been gone from Tx for a year and a half.........oh I miss home :-(

Fried food-like fried chicken, mozzarella sticks, mushrooms Dips and Chips-now I portion it out and can still fit it in. At parties/showers etc. forget the cake, I'm all about the chips and dips.

I've been doing the MFP sedentary plus eating back the calories since January but have been going on a 3 month plateau now..so looking for ways to bust it. On many posts people are always talking about the TDEE and figure using that INCLUDING your workouts if they are pretty consistent, which they are. Many here say MFP…

Well there should be a penalty but no one should be denied. Someone who is not obese and does not smoke should not have to pay the same as those who do/are. I think corporations insurance should take into account this as well. I've never smoked, I've never been obese my costs go up every year thanks to those who do/are.…

Well I used PF Chang on my meals it said 60 or 65 per dumpling, other "generic" pork steamed dumpling showed as 40 each. I picked the higher calorie ones "just because" 4 is plenty, then they heat up well in the microwave too, I had the rest today.

yes you can, my husband became lactose intolerant when he was in his early 20's. Digestive Advantage pills and Lactaid products have become his best friends!

I wondered that myself, the Greek nonfat yogurt is 2x the calories than the regular nonfat yogurt. I know it has 2x the protein too but does one cancel out the other? I tried my first strawberry greek yogurt today and I liked it. I bet it would be good frozen. But..worried about the calories.

Try Ebay, you can get some nice pieces, or I've found that dresses transition better as you can belt them, etc when they get bigger. If you get pants on Ebay just sell them back out when they get to big :-)
-
Don't think of it as a screw up, that makes it sound forbidden like you can't ever have or do it again, as if it's drugs or something. That's the biggest reason people "fall off the wagon" as they think any fast food, sweet treat, etc is something they can never have again, and others making you feel that way like "Oh you…

Ebay and Consignment stores..you should be able to get some nice pieces that won't break the bank. I've found that dresses "transition" better than pants. You can always belt dresses or blouses/tees for a slimming/hourglass look.

I guess because the videos tell people they do? That's why I only put it between 550-650 depending how hard the class was and how it flowed.

Well I'll tell you I work my *kitten* off at Zumba, and kickboxing. if you've never done it you wouldn't know that i'ts not just dancing around. We do lots of squats, lunges, resistance training, they change up our workouts because the instructor says you should not get used to just one routine. I do arm work till my body…

I've done this, tried it after a 1 month plateau, nothing, Tried it 2 weeks later, nothing. took 2 weeks "off" still nothing.

Yes I do own a kitchen scale and I use it as well as measuring cups. I only add those things sometimes so I can get enough calories. I had people before tell me to add little things here and there. The dressing I use is homemade, and I know real butter is a hell of a lot better than margarine. I thought the Silk protein…

I opened up my food diary now there were some days I netted 1100 and some that I netted around 1600-1700 because I tried high/low

Well there is no way in hell I'm consuming more than I'm burning especially to put me at maintenance for 3 months. I do zumba and kickboxing which I log on the low end depending how hard I feel the instructors worked us, I only put it between 500-650 calories, I can't be convinced a Zumba class burns 1000-1200 calories.…

Yeah I thought the studies showed that people who drank milk and ate natural cheeses lost weight/maintained better. It's the combo of natural calcium and vitamin D that you can't get from supplements.

Almost any food can be "diet friendly" as long as you don't go overboard and you excersise and not rely on calorie counting alone..that said... Wheat Pitas and hummus. Yum! Veggies and dip made with greek yogurt, Garlic hummus as a sandwich spread. Yummity yum.
