His name is Kyle and he is the sweetest, most patient and strong person I know. This is him just before doing the Tough Guy Challenge in Wolverhampeton, Jan 2011 We have been together since the 4th day of our first year at university (he lived in the flat across from me) and has taken care of me through work stress, family…

Happens to me too! Can depend on sodium intake, water weight or even howlate you ate the night before! This week i weighed myself two days after my weight day randomly and i'd put on 2.5lbs and i was p*ssed off! so i went off to get ready for the day, then went backl and used the bathroom and weighed myself about 45 mins…

Wow, lots of info. Thanks guys! I have done some work experience with a nutritionist before,we did a workshop with some elderly people and discussed drinking water. The nutritionist said that 8 cups a day was fine, tea was included but if you have more than 1 coffee it would be best to drink an extra glassof water.....he…

(One of my nurses rolledup two towels into a tube and taped them up so when i sneezed or coughed i could press the tube to my tummy to stopmy musclesmoving…

I seem to have phases where i literally cannot stop eating and i will happily eat bread and cheese and go way over...until the next morning when i realise how stupid i've been. I seem to have this for 2/3 days and then sort of grow out of it, be good for a couple weeks and then hit a bit of a mental wall again. Generally…

I am clinging to 5"11 and i currently weigh 177lbs, my goal weight is 165 purely because in the last year i have lost 22lbs and don't seem to have gone down a dress size at all which is my main motivation. I had that a couple weeks ago BUT i am now a few more pounds down and i have noticed a (slight) difference ie pants that would come down as they were tight around my hips are now staying up and not making my muffin tops quite so ridiculous....! Dont be disheartened, it will happen for you i PROMISE. It will be worth it,…

Try a low calorie hot drink...like hot chocolate or tea. I find that the motion of making it then drinking it whilst reading or doing some work or something really helps. Often after i've finished my drink i'm not so hungry! Or i try and leave some calories over so if i am hungry i can have a yoghurt or a biscuit or…

I have that exact problem! I try not to have any yoghurt or fruit or anything for dessert after dinner and that way if i am still hungry and hour or twolater and need to snack,i have calories and somethign healthy i can have. OR sometimes i plan for this and keep things like low calchocolate mousse or have a hot chocolate…

Try river cobbler! It's quite a meaty fish and you can buy it smoked so it doesn't taste (or smell) 'fishy'. I had a fillet with a baked sweet potato and some salad. You can put it in soups, fry it lightly, casserole etc. I had it for the first timelast night and both me and my boyfriend loved it, think itmight be my new…

My physio friend told me to have a cold shower or bath to prevent muscle damage!

I feel your pain! I lost a stone last year and went from being a 16 to an inbetweeny and i would dearly love to fit comfortably and squarely in a 14! (i am 6foot so anything smaller and i'd look like a twiglet). I dont know if this helps but i bought a good qualitypair of leggings (about £10) and have been pretty much…

I had never thought about heart rate! I dont think mine goes up! And since i started putting it in last week as burning calories at work i haven't lost weight, i've gained nearly a lb. boo! Thanks guys!

LOTS of water! And you dont need to be a marathon runner, just go fast walking for half an hour a day on top of what you already do will make a difference along with doing strength exercises too! You shouldn't aim to lose a ton of weight in 2ish weeks cos you might put it back on but 6ish lbs is manageable! good luck :)
