Good questions kcdrake, i would love to know how to get up early too. At the moment i like to run during the evenings after work etc. but the problem with this is it is still too dark to go far enough, i try to run quite a bit at the weekends but thats not enough for the whole week. Yey, a good week for me this week! I lost 1lb so i'm happy with that. If I can loose 1lb per week I'll be pleased! How's everyone else done? We don't seem to have had everyone's weigh ins yet!

I've started running again this week, i gave up for the winter as it was too dark and i didn't feel safe running at night where i live as its just country lanes. Now it's getting lighter and i've started to run for about 30 mins every other night. I usually start the year like this and work up to running for an hour or so…

i did rubbish too! +1lb this week although i did go to a party on saturday night so perhaps it has something to do with the food and drinks there! I'll write it off this week and start again

thanks lynz4589 I'll try drinking water next time I'm bored, it's surprising how much unneccesary things i eat when i'm bored! This threads already got me motivated.

So I have updated my signature. Can I ask what is everybody doing to try to curb the cravings? I work in an office and don't really move about alot during the day and find that I eat out of boredom mostly.

can i please join? I would also like to loose weight, maybe about 10 pounds if i can. Not a huge amount but i'm struggling at the moment. My current weight is 152 pounds and i'm 5 foot 6. I'm hoping a group could be just the motivation i need.
