  • I have tried for a month to stay away from sugar and artificial sweeteners. Sometimes I take a bite or two of something sweet but not like I used to. Craving s have definitely gone! And I've lost weight. I'm cutting back on carbs too. I agree with sipping hot tea's and keeping busy!!! Good luck!
  • I am in my 50's also and am just as frustrated at you. My weight does not budge. I stay within the same amount of calories and do about 30 minutes / day cardio. Don't know what else to do but keep at it!! I'd be happy to be your friend if you would like!
  • Lol!! you sound like me!!! yes, I have a trainer also twice a week and I do have to eat more, BUT more protein and less carbs. I'm still trying although I do tend to pick on junk food at home that kids bring. feel free to add me...I also want to loose 50 pounds...:)
  • amazing! I like your story and attitude! I wish i could say i lost that much but some day I will. Like you, I am doing similar things with my eatiing habits. Eating out is what kills me so I am trying not to eat out. I will add you a my friends! :)
  • same here! I LUV bread, especially just baked and they sell it at the grocery store every day. It is a trigger food for me too! So, I have to make an effort not to pass by that isle.
