I want to know what makes you so special that you are taking applications for the number one spot. I don't apply for anything unless I know it's worth it.

This guy told me I shouldn't lift too heavy because I don't want to get bulky :noway: :grumble: he's probably just scared I'll end up lifting more than him!

I add sweet potato cubes to my stir frys. I just cook them first with a bit of cinnamon and add a bit of water and cover to let them soften a bit, then I add all my veggies and chicken and make my own peanut butter sauce with balsamic vinegar, water and soy sauce. So good!I also sometimes add black beans.

I do my own version of this program: http://www.simplyshredded.com/the-ultimate-female-training-guide.html I do 5x5 on the main lifts (Stronglifts) and then do accessory work using the 4 day split in the program I quoted. I love lifting heavy!

Just drink lots of water and get right back on track. Don't restrict your food intake to make up for it. Make sure you are eating enough throughout the day, maybe eat more protein to help curb cravings. Just don't be too hard on yourself - it happens to the best of us.

I think it's great to have goals, but if you put an expiration date you are more likely to gain it all back after. Diets are temporary - aim for a lifestyle change. The weight will come off in both cases, but you'll have more long term success if you just incorporate it into your life. It's taken me over a year to lose 45…

In for canned tuna ideas! I also need to use what's in my pantry more. And this: http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/8-ways-to-prepare-tuna.html I also make tuna salad sandwhiches/wraps or just on crackers or cucumber slices. I use avocado instead of mayo and add some spices and lemon juice. Very tasty!

Farrah Abraham - the teen mom who did porn, and apparently now is trying to start a "music career". I saw the video for her "single" on Perez.com (yes, I check celebrity news on occasion as a guilty pleasure) and couldn't even get through the first 10 seconds. Her voice is just so irritating, I can't even explain it.

You do not need crutches. I know it's tempting to reach for one because it feels easier in the moment, but this will not make you happy in the long term. I've been working hard to let myself "feel" my emotions instead of numbing them with food, sex or booze, or any other typical emotional "crutch" people use. Take this…

Short answer: yes it can. I've worn a heart rate monitor during Zumba classes, and even while doing Zumba at home on the Wii, and I always burn over 500 calories for an hour. Depends on the day, and the intensity, etc. But yes it's possible.

I've been lifting heavy for almost a year now and trust me, I have not bulked in the slightest. I have lost a lot of inches and look and feel better than ever. And I can tell I have more muscles in my legs, but they look smaller and cellulite has improved. So don't be scared to lift weights! There's no such thing as "light…

I drink a pretty large amount of coffee and I am never giving it up (unless my doctor tells me to for some reason). I just have it black with a bit of unsweetened almond milk (which I measure and track). It does help control hunger, especially when I am fasting until 12 pm. (I've been experimenting with intermittent…

You just eat all your calories and macros in your "eating window". I try to eat between 12 and 8 pm. This works better for me since I workout after work and only get home around 7. I prefer having two larger meals and snacks throughout the day. I haven't been doing it long enough to notice any changes yet (almost a week)…

Yes, it will most definitely help. However, this is not something you do for 3 months until you see results and then you stop. That's where most people fail. You have to maintain a regular exercise routine long term. So do something you enjoy, and don't be afraid to lift heavy. I am loving how my body is responding to…

Yes and I would do it again and again! I've met some amazing people on here who have supported me more than people I know in real life. They all inspire me everyday

Anything is your best starting point. Really. Even 5 minutes. Often once you get started you will do more. It's really a mental battle more than physical.
