  • i'm in grad school, and have found that making a big meatloaf on sunday gives me plenty of food for lunches/dinners during the week. also sloppy joes! made with lean meats these aren't really that unhealthy.
  • feel free to add me! i'm pretty active and like encouraging my friends!
  • 132 lbs, 5'7, size 8 jeans (although size 6 fits, i just like my pants a little looser), small tops. started out size 12, 152 lbs, large tops. it's funny, because i thought that shirts ran small when i weighed more, and now i feel like they run a little big. :)
  • Yep, those are the ones I eat! They are higher in calories than the yogurts I usually eat (always light, under 100 calories) so it's amazing how those extra 50 calories means I can't have one of my usual snacks (plum, rice cake, apple, etc). They are so good though. :)
  • i've really benefited from having a gym membership! mine is also around 40/month, and i go every single day. if i don't make it, i feel guilty. plus the classes are just so much fun! i actually look forward to working out every day. i definitely wouldn't do that if i didn't have a gym membership. also, my gym is really…
  • i lovee those greek corners! they are so high in calories that i try to view them as a dessert though. they're so delicious! i usually just eat plain, nonfat yogurt, so these flavored ones are a bit of a splurge. ;) since i'm almost positive that the yogurt is vanilla flavored which means it has added sugars and flavors. :/
  • i understand completely... i started at 152 and i am 5'7, and for me it just felt like a really bad weight for me. i called myself fat all the time, even though i was still a healthy BMI. i've dropped about 20lbs and feel much better but still feel like i have at least 5 more pounds to go.... but because there are so many…
  • i took a look at your diary and read all of your follow up posts, and it really seems like you're doing everything right. from my personal experience, it took me about a month of exercising regularly and watching my diet before i saw any results. i spoke to my personal trainer about it, and she said that it was often the…
  • Mine are gone too, and the little things that are left aren't anything to be proud of. :( I've lost about a cup size and a half (lol) and lost 20 lbs as well. I think I lost the weight pretty evenly from all over my body, but my boobs and butt seem to have lost a little more. :'(
  • I totally understand! It seems like you've done a great job and you got a lot of great advice. I just want to second the fact that you need to let yourself enjoy the foods you love every once in a while or you'll go crazy. One cheat day a week won't hurt your weight loss as long as you don't go crazy and go thousands of…
  • WOW! what an amazing transformation!! you look fantastic!
  • if you click on "settings" in the top right of the page, then click on "goals" it will give you the option to change it. it's different using the app on your phone, but i think you find it with the same general tabs. :)
  • i think you are eating way too little! it seems wrong, but eating so little really doesn't work for weight loss. i started at 150lbs, worked out every day, and consumed 1200 calories/day (didn't eat back what i burned) and didn't lose a single pound for a month! then, i saw all the posts on here about eating more to lose,…
  • YAY! i'm sure you can lose 25lbs in 40 weeks. i'm sure you'll start feeling even better just after you hit your first goal. :) my wedding date is June 14, 2014! so about a year away now. started getting serious about 2 months ago now... height: 5'6(and a half!) starting weight when i began MFP: 152 current weight: 136!…
  • this is what i do! i love having some peanut butter with a banana for dessert, and definitely don't think this is junk food since it doesn't contain any added crap.
  • i totally understand eating more now that you are tracking... i've done the same thing. however, i have really switched all of my snacking foods to healthier options.... so instead of having ice cream for dessert, i have a frozen greek yogurt bar (seriously delicious and only 80 cals!) or a banana with peanut butter or low…
