I might do Friday Fight tomorrow instead of tabata strength and do that Saturday. Anyone do Friday Fight and enjoy it (as much as you could?)

Mummy kicks! Amy Dixon calls them "Russian dance", I find it fun how everyone has different names for their moves. I put in sweat intervals and the second I pressed "play" our lights went out, the whole street. Back in 5 but I laughed someone wanted me to have a break. ; ) I didn't like sweat as much as cardio challenge…

That seems realistic. Guys burn more, heavier weights, etc. but I never got over low 200's with T25 even pushing it. My heart rate would drop quickly afterwards but my doctor told me that's good, that's the goal, the better shape you are in, you'll burn less, your heart will pump better but those lower numbers show…

Wow, loved that workout, went to 17, modified the power knee and jumped low not high. Abs, I thought, 10, that's nothing, but the power V I'm used too with Pilates, I was just too tired, around 8, I had to stop for a short time and then stop again for a few seconds around 9 1/2. Look forward to doing it with HRM next time.…

He talks, but not like some who tell stories and it gets old very fast, he is all about the routine. Amy Dixon is like that too, I like it. Mine just came! Going to try cardio challenge and tabata power if I can to help with goodies I ate today at office party

Thanks for that clip. I look forward to getting mine tonight, hope it's not too late in delivery. My strength is abs (years of Pilates) and I did tabata workouts for a year, so I look forward to seeing how they helped. I heard he really doesn't rest completely but I'm sure it's fine. This is a youtube of someone showing…

Thanks for that tip, I was getting leg cramps at night after T25. I also went and bought a really thick mat to help too.
-
my delivery is Wednesday so I'll probably start Thursday, be nice to see what happens in a month especially with Christmas and New Years in between!

I know he wants you to start and stop when you need a rest but is it distracting when others in the dvd do it? I know in Insanity, occasionally he would send someone (even if they didn't seem that tired) to get water, etc. but it wasn't that distracting. I would rather they just did it but I think he was trying to show…

I don't like a lot of talk, it gets tired. Amazon shipped mine today but I doubt I'll see it before early next week. I have T25 and 2 Insanity DVD's, (I bought them off EBay separate from package) to add to my rotations. I like Shaun and also use Jillian and Amy Dixon. Amy's tabata's are great too, helped me break a…

Can't wait for mine to come!
-
I have one too, will be interesting to see how it compares to the other DVD's but no matter what, I'll be getting a good workout.
-
Lapre, do you use a HRM? I bought Pure Cardio and Max Cardio on Ebay separately to change up my rotation on DVD's. Max was a killer. I liked the Pure Cardio warmup and sometimes would do it twice as a mini workout when short on time. : )

I love Tabata, I do Amy Dixon's series Breathless body with that. I am sure Shaun kicks it up a notch!
-
I just ordered mine from Amazon, didn't pay for faster shipping but it said around 12/15. Can't wait for some new routines!
-
Just saw they put it on Amazon..think it might be a Xmas gift (early)
-
You can order it? Was this through BB?

I also burn about 200 and think that is very good for 25 minutes (about the same for a slow run with me) and I also think MFP was way too high for certain things.
-
I put the speed under aerobics and weights under circuit or strength. I used a HRM a few times to get an average. I usually don't use one with strength but he did some cardio in between some of the weights on certain dvd's so heart rate was higher.

I liked Power 90, when I got it, I could start with the second stage, which is like hte first, but longer. I enjoyed his humor then and the more "real" assistants he had. I still do the ab routine (200 when you're done) on occasion. He also has a "master" series to bridge Px series after Power 90. I really like "Cardio…

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9XAIYy14PB4 Looks a little disjointed in the clip, strength and cardio, hopefully further clips will be better. I didn't realize it was a program, I thought it was just one or two dvd's.

So do I which shortens Insanity a lot, even more if you skip cool down but I want my heart rate to stay up more consistently. I found buying 2 dvds of first month of Insanity on Ebay (Pure Cardio and Plyometric) fun with some minor moderation's but I don't know if Max will have more jumping. Will be looking to check it out…

I try to stress how much better I feel, less tired, etc after eating better and losing weight. How can you argue with going from feeling crappy to better? I also default at times, although I don't need an excuse saying, how I have gastric issues with eating fried foods now which is true and too much dairy. My family and…

I remember not liking this DVD when I first got it in my fitness journey but now I do. It is hard, although some circuits not as much as others. You can break them up, it has chapters which is nice., but no matter what, when you get 3/4 through, you're ready to say "done". ; ) I change some of the moves myself, no "rock…

I love Pilates, kept my core strong for years. I used to use a VHS tape (dating I know) from Moira Merrithew ,Stott Pilates, and any low back pain I had went away after a while. I also developed a strong back and stomach. Even when I gained weight the last 5 years I kept doing it so that although I had fat over the…

My normal is 3lbs, more if my sodium is very high.

I've seen similar links...it's good not to compare. So many things go into losing weight and genes, age, body type, etc matter. I also have read blogs where a person states a certain program like "Insanity" or similar one made them lose weight/inches but they also ran, did spinning and other things that aren't mentioned in…

I do that DVD every once in a while but I don't think just for the midsection it's that great. Try mixing it up with other exercises, abs need to be challenged and sometimes doing the same dvd or exercise, the muscle gets used to it. I think it's a well rounded DVD but I always did Pilates or other ab workouts also. I am…

I weigh daily and "count" the weekend if it stays down all week. I go up and down 3 pounds on a regular basis and that is one of the reasons I do it. I used to think I didn't lose at all or "lost" my 2 lb loss that week but it was just normal fluctuations. I am 55 and over some hormonal fluctuations, but do retain water…

I think "lifestyle" not diet, so I try to incorporate what I like often in my day. I will have pasta, pizza, etc but less of it unless it's a holiday or something special. I will buy small quantities of cookies or snack packs to keep indulging down. I've seen too many people over the years cut everything and when…
