You do know that a lot of the people in the gluten free crowd that "inconvenience" you have to eat that way so they're not ill and in immense pain, right? Not everyone does it because it's a fad.
-
It's not about knowing the options, because if you have an allergy you generally know what to avoid in terms of recipes and whole raw foods you can buy. It's more about the packaged goods you can buy in stores. I certainly hope the extra gluten-free labeling in stores doesn't go away. As annoying and fad-like as it may…

Don't knock it til you try it. It's a decent brand.

Did you really just start an MFP account just to chat with women... ? :\

If I type it cheeseburgersandbeer does it count as one food? ;)

Oh I 100% agree, but since we can't see the specifics it's hard to say. You can make your diary open for others to view by going into Settings -> Privacy Settings.
-
Since you don't have your diary open to public view, we can't really go over any of that to give you suggestions. But my question is, assuming you are indeed weighing everything accurately, why do you feel the need to force your body to eat more if you feel fine with what you're currently eating?

She throws axes for funzies, kickboxes and knows how to work a bow and arrow ;) lol

Predator... a fantastic one lol

If I could hug you right now I would :D I wish more men could share your open-minded and educated view on life.

Wow, really? That's not disgusting at all. Cat calling is not a compliment, regardless of whether or not a woman is attractive. Perhaps it's harder to see from a man's perspective because you understandably don't feel threatened when approached by strangers, however most women view random comments from strange men as a…

Nope, love it. Will always be a classic to me. Besides, I ain't afraid of no ghosts!

Nothing wrong with water :) It's pretty much the only thing I drink besides green tea. Also, I know your friend means well - but the way you distribute your calories throughout the day has no effect on your weight loss. You could break your calorie allotment into 5 small meals throughout the day or you could have all of…

Ha! Yep, I'm out. There is zero use in trying to change a person's opinion. Although he's been reported for his lewd comments earlier so have fun with that.
-
I did read the article. It was full of psuedo-science and improperly quoted research studies taken out of context. And congrats to you on cherry picking my comment, but to not actually answering the blatant question.

That has to be one of the most poorly constructed websites I've seen since the days of custom Myspace pages. If you truly believe that nonsense, then how do you explain babies born with substance addiction from in-utero circumstances? Are you really insinuating that these babies make a choice to want to do cocaine at 3…

Well, since no one else has said it... Happy Birthday! I wouldn't be too upset over it. I mean, do you really care if the people you're paid to be around celebrate your birthday? It sounds like you've got some awesome friends who took you out for lunch and a happy little toddler at home who can give you all the birthday…

This sounds awesome! Definitely saving for later.

If you want to be honest and accurate with yourself and see the best results, you really should be logging every single thing you eat. Ketchup is mostly sugar so I'd be logging that as well. Otherwise you're getting an incomplete picture of how many calories you're getting in a day. Which means you're probably eating more…

Mmm these all sound so tasty! I've got a bit of a splurge lunch today. Some leftover homemade spaghetti from the other night. And for snacks I've brought a banana and some coconut greek yogurt.

I honestly think it depends on the workout. For a cardio-based exercise, I'd probably question whether or not the workout was any good if they were doing it on a regular basis and weren't seeing any results. But for weight training I would probably overlook the extra weight as strange as that sounds.
-
Good points made above, you should also try adding in some of the exercises found in Strong Curves (or just follow the SC plan as a whole). I've heard there are great results to be had with this. I've just started doing them, and I've gotta say - my booty has never gotten such a workout!…

I think it's just a natural thing that happens to some people. Even when I was super fit before university, I'd still get a bright red face about half way through my workout that took hours to fade. My friends took to calling me Strawberry Shortcake (I'm a fairly short girl as well). I've just learned to roll with it and…

Hey, gotta put in the work for the glutes! lol

Hahaha! I've actually had a leg day so bad once that I pretty much threw myself onto the toilet the next day. It was so loud that my mother had to knock and ask if I was ok lol
-
Thanks! I have been making sure to properly warm up and cool down, epsom salts don't really seem to do much for me unfortunately. I'm starting to think it's just my general upper body weakness and will affect me less as I gain strength in my arms haha
-
Yes, yes we can. See man smoking french fry here ---> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mUS7cBeYKgI I laughed when I watched it, and then I got sad because it means there are probably tons of chemicals in that to make it burn that way.

Unless you have experience with Celiac or other digestive issues caused by gluten, please don't go about citing statistics you found online that claim gluten is the devil. I never said she shouldn't be going gluten free, I just asked because it affects what suggestions to give her. If she was doing it purely for weight…
-
Just curious, are you going gluten free for Celiac/allergy reasons or just trying to cut out breads for diet reasons?

Check out the C25K program. It's definitely made a runner out of this girl. Plus I've noticed a definite improvement in my lung capacity and my working heart rate is now lower. ETA: They even have a smartphone app that counts down each interval for you as you run.
