Well, I'm not 50 yet (40 something), but my goal is also to lose 50 lbs. I am giving myself a year to do so because I know slow and steady wins the race. I am 5'2" (age 44) and the goal for me is 130 lbs. About 7 years ago I weighed 120 lbs. and a size 7 and it didn't look very healthy on me. I don't want to be a stick - I want to keep my curves so I will stick to my goal.
