  • I'm adding more foods to this list... if you want to add food feel free to post it below and I'll add it to the list.
  • Not a problem! Lol. It's hard when you're wracking your mind for anything and everything.
  • Wow you're doing so well. Also the scale is not the only indicator of weight loss - you said it - inches also count. :) Keep it up!!! It is so like a job, nothing could be more true.
  • No no.. some healthy fat (which would be nuts) is good in your diet! They're giving you some very essential oils as well. I wouldn't eat like a ton of them but if they're measured it should be fine. Also they're giving you lotsa protein and fiber as well.

  • Hi!!! Did you know that you're actually burning calories while cleaning, too? If you're doing it quickly enough for an hour to an hour and a half it can actually equal a workout at the gym. I thought I'd share the good news with you. :)
  • I don't know about this specifically helping but I'm sure apples, as well as other foods rich in fiber will help you to feel fuller for longer. Eat every 3 hours or so - light meals instead of full meals. Maybe this is what your friend means...
  • It's natural in the process of weight loss for your skin to be tight or loose. Eventually you'll find that as you hit your maintenance goal for a while your stretch marks will turn from being red to white and almost nonexistent. :)
  • I've been where you're at just a few weeks ago. I know what made the difference for me was all the support I got on MFP and holding myself responsible for the mistakes I made. And no making excuses like "it's okay I'll just track tomorrow" or "it's only 100 extra caloires" turns into 500 extra calories or "I've done so…
  • Use your food diary as a way to help yourself stay accountable to yourself. It's actually a great tool - where else would you be able to let the general public see what you've eaten every day? lol.

  • Unless your entire diet consists of so much meat/protein that you're lacking the fiber and nutrient element I don't think it's a bad thing to eat over the protein on MFP. Besides it's making your cells stronger! lol
  • Great post. This is so true.
  • Lady Gaga all the way! lol. Try The Go! Team. Or The Gossip.
  • Don't be discouraged!! I really messed up in the past... 40 pounds lost and 40 pounds ALL GAINED BACK. I have been around the block a few times and know that it is about ten times harder to lose weight than to gain it lol. I use this as my guide and my will to continue on my weight loss journey. So far it's inspired me to…

  • If I had to guess I would assume it will take you about a month to get back to where you were (assuming my math is right). That's okay!!! We all get de-railed a some point on our weight loss journey. I was on a plateau for an entire year until I decided to get serious again!! It just depends on your own personal resolve…

  • Before I was on a diet I was never naturally hungry before noon. I find that for the first time in my life I get hungry in the morning if I don't eat at least two hours before bed. Or if my dinner is around 200 calories. I don't think everyone is naturally hungry in the mornings just like I used to not be.
  • You're losing inches? This means you are losing weight as well but it hasn't shown up on the scale yet. When you weigh yourself next week the progress will probably register.

  • I'm second on this -- that even though he's having "normal" weight loss right now, what he's doing to his body is not good unlike a regular diet. While he might be losing weight right now, he is going to have trouble with maintenance mode. This is because his body is used to eating so few calories when he does actually…
  • Excellent! I also love how healthy sweet potatoes are.
  • Having my pants extremely, extremely loose. Also having my "tight" pants fit comfortably without the muffintop bulge.
  • I went from 164 to weighing 120 when I was 18... I kept the weight off for two years. I did gain it all back but now I am in the process of losing it again! I would consider this a temporary setback -- having to lose my weight all over again. I guess I might be considered the classic yoyo dieter. Oh well. I was pretty…
  • I highly recommend weight watchers because that was the program that I used before MFP. I try to eat raw, organic, and unprocessed foods whenever I can. When I can't I do my best to make healthy food choices. I am not perfect but I've cut out a lot of sugar from my diet. Every now and then I'll eat a lil bit of something…
  • I love MFP!! Feel free to add me as a friend on here if you'd like.
  • I drop things all the time LOL! I had wondered if it was part of my back injury but nope... just absentmindedness.

  • nuts, whole grain bread, flax seed bars, kashi breakfast bars, kashi cereal, apples, oranges, pears, prunes, seeds
  • Brothers fruit crisps are 35-45 calories each. Also Kashi makes great breakfast bars although they are a bit higher in calories.
  • Good luck on your weight loss journey!
  • I didn't start losing as much weight on MFP until I met you super awesome friends. lol
  • No don't give up. I was in your same weight loss bad cycle for an entire year. Stagnation and over eating. Until I made lots of friends on MFP!! Everyone has inspired me to be the best me that I can be. You can get back on track too with the right amount of effort, action, and motivation. I know you can do it.
  • Hi new friend. :) LOL
  • Yes! That's the spirit! We always put ourselves last and in the past that's made me gain the most. In the end it ends up being selfish anyway because when I'm fat I'm more stressed, less healthy, more grouchy, and less fun to be around... both for me and the people around me. So by putting myself first I'm not putting…
