  • I got stretch marks before I was even a mom so that's a harder pill to swallow for me. Then when I had my first I feel it got worst and they're all in my belly as well. My mom had 3 of us was smaller than me and she does not have one single one :/. I have always considered laser surgery but until I'm done having kids. They…
  • I can related with the hubby issue. Mine eats whatever he wants and due to his job right now he is loosing weight while I have to struggle. However I do try to cook at home so that were not tempted to eat out. I go for walks with my 3 month old every morning and make myself eat healthy. It does get easier if you truly…
  • Go to dinner and maybe a comedy club, those are fun. Go to the mall and buy each other something small and give it to each other while having dinner. Good luck, I would love to have more date nights myself.
  • I also do the calendar idea someone gave and it is great motivation. I would wait to get in a strict exercise regimen because of the milk supply. Add me if you wish. I'm always looking for new motivators !
  • Thank you ladies for your input. I'm not sure how much milk I actually produce but I feel like a cow being milked every 3-4 hours. I'm 5'2 and I'm currently 216 lbs. Trying to now loose the pounds I had from before I was pregnant. I have heard of women saying that breast feeding helped them loose weight but I was…
  • Hi, I've been on MFP since January of 2011. I lost 48 lbs from January to may, which is when I found out I was pregnant. Had my daughter 5 weeks ago and lost all the pregnancy weight now I'm trying to continue loosing the non-pregnancy weight from before. Always looking for new friends so add me if you wish. Started MFP @…
  • Hello all, I don't want to hijack the thread, but I have a quick question on this. I had my daughter exactly 4 weeks ago and I have been mostly breast feeding. I already dropped all the weight I gained while pregnant, which was almost 40 lbs. Is this healthy? Or should I be worried? 40 lbs in 4 weeks seems a lot to me and…
  • Hello, Welcome, you can add me if you wish. I wish you nothing but success!
  • I hated running too until I tried it last Sunday. My friend who lost more than 100 lbs. insists it helped her a lot. I just began, but I'm beginning to like it. I was able to run for 10 minutes straight and I'm beginning to challenge myself to run faster. I hope it does give me the results that other people are having.…
  • I usually do 6 days, but in the last few weeks I cut it to 5 days a week. I have heard that you have to give your body at least 1 day to rest. In my opinion 5/6 days working out is good.
  • Every one of your comments made me think about the situation in different perspectives and I think I know what I need to do. Thank you everyone for your input.
  • I really wish neither one of them had gotten me involved, that way my perception of them both had not been changed. To answer someone's question here, she self-admitted that she did it because she was unhappy. She said she didn't love him anymore and that the only reason why she stayed with him was because he begged. She…
  • I'm very sorry you are going through this. I have never gone through this, but I have a friend who just did this to her husband and I couldn't understand how anyone would do this to a person they supposedly love. Therefore, the only conclusion I can come up with is that she does NOT love her husband because why would…
  • HAHAHA I agree with you nobody wants to hear this. Everyone who asks me I tell them I work out 6 times a week and they tell me I'm crazy. I was a skeptic of the "SECRET" too for a long time until I tried it.
  • Welcome, Feel free to add me as a friend if you'd like.
  • Wow! I have to tell you that you shocked me with your after pictures. You look completely different! Congratulations, you should feel extremely proud of yourself.
  • hahahaha good for you. Haters are always a great motivation!
  • What an awesome feeling. Good job girl, you are unstoppable.
  • I can also relate to this. For the past 2 years I have weighed more than my hubby and it's pretty embarrassing. Reading your post however I realized that I now weigh less than him! Yay to us!
  • I agree with everyone thank you for your research. I recently hit a PLATEAU and I think it is due to the fact that I was eating less and exercising more thinking that was going to be better for me. I have upped my calories this week to see how it goes. Hopefully I can start progressing again.
  • Wow I have learned something new today. I'm on the same boat and I'm going on my 4th week of no weight loss, but I was doing the same thing you were. I'm going to try eating more, so I trick my body into believing it has to burn more. The way I understand it is if I eat healthy food, my body will think it has to burn…
  • What keeps me motivated for one is to see how different my clothes fit. Jeans that I couldn't wear before are now fitting me loose as well as blouses. When I get on the scale and see at least 1lb lost is also a big motivation.
  • On the excess skin I have heard nothing really works if it is a lot. On the stretch mark issue I have been told that vitamin E pills work really good, which I will start trying out myself soon. I will let you know how it goes.
  • thats awesome and I know the feeling it's great. It motivates you more than anything else. Keep it up!
  • Welcome! I'm also semi-new, so I can't offer much advice. The only thing I can tell you is that if you track what you eat and how much you exercise daily, you will eventually start learning what to eat and what not to eat. Hang in there you will get the hang of it.
  • Thank you for the info. I will have to try it out, but I must admit I'm a bit scared :/.....LOL
  • Excuse my ignorance, but what is the 30 day shred? Is it a home work-out video?
