I agree. It's hard, but I like month 2 so much better than month 1! There is a wider variety of exercises that Shaun T puts into different combinations which actually makes them more fun, and I haven't gotten completely bored like I did with the month 1 workouts. I even like the warm-up more in month 2. Just be prepared to…

Ha ha me too! Work as a marine biologist for the government, trying to make sure there are plenty of fishes in the ocean for all of us healthy eaters out there to eat! Originally from Idaho, but now reside in Texas.

Yeah, because I'm going to go straight through I plan on repeating recovery week and month 2 again. I'm just now starting to see real improvements in my month 2 workouts, so I don't know, seems like going all the way back to month 1 might be almost like taking a step backward??? Yes, I should definitely be able to push way…

Go for it!!! I am on my last day of month 2 today, and already planning on starting recovery week so I can go straight into month 2 again. I think all of us on here have completely lost our marbles!

I sent a friend request too. Today is day 54 of Insanity for me, and while the changes have been slow, the program is addicting. I plan on going straight into a second round as soon as I finish month 2. Would love to have lots of friends to motivate and support each other through the craziness that is Shaun T!

Anyone here can definitely add me! I will smack face first into the big 4-0 this September, but I'm digging my heels in every step of the way. I'm determined to be fit and fabulous by then, and hopefully go on a big trip somewhere awesome to celebrate it. Hmm, am I still allowed to use the word "awesome" even though I'm…

I just finished day 43 of Insanity (only 20 more to go!), have run a couple of times since I started the program, and found tremendous improvements in my speed and endurance. Before I started Insanity I was running about 4 miles a day 4-5 days a week, doing some days at longer sustained pace and some workouts with high…

Ewww, the Ex-Lax lesson is a tough one to learn but definitely a valuable life lesson. I think only people from Galveston refer to it as G-Town...and since most of them don't like to leave the island they've probably never heard of Georgetown!

Have a Harley Sportster that is unfortunately seeing too much garage time now that I spend all my time working out! :frown:

G-town (aka Galveston). Welcome! (I can't say howdy as I'm not originally from Texas!)

Hello! I'm just down the road from you a little bit...Galveston area. Welcome to the site. I agree with you, it's a fantastic way to keep track of everything. Up until a month ago I was still using (gasp!) a pen and paper to track my food and exercise. So glad this site exists!

Sounds like you need a sports "bro"! Hmmm, maybe should run to the patent office now...

Me too! Fit test and max circuit together on the first day...no wonder they call it Insanity. I felt like I was back in the first week on my first attempt at the plyo circuit, except I love it now!!!

Request sent! Finished day 32 today, so 2 more days of recovery week until I start month 2. Hopefully it will be Monday for me too if I manage to stay on schedule. I'm a little nervous about month 2 so could use all the support I can get!

You can add me too! Just finished day 32. Wrapping up recovery week and getting ready to start month 2. Not going to lie...I'm scared s*#tless about what's coming!

I agree..but now I find myself tightening my core throughout the day while sitting at my desk. Kind of like butt clenches, but now I do ab clenches!

I got my first pair of Newtons just over a year ago when I started training for my first half-marathon, and I still love them! It takes a little extra time to get used to them in the beginning though. It definitely helps to slow down your pace a little bit and focus on getting your foot strike in the right position. The…

My dietician recommended them for me while I was on a low-calorie diet for 6 weeks. I didn't notice any changes in either my energy level or weight loss while receiving the injections so I quit taking them. It's actually pretty easy to get lots of B vitamins through your food choices, which is usually the preferred way to…

Hi everyone. I just wrapped up my third week with the totally crazy cardio circuit. It's the only workout that I totally dread, but I love it when it's over! Glad I found this group to help me push play every day. Keep it up everybody!

I just started week 3 today with my second attempt at the dreaded Fit Test...uggh. I'm also on my second attempt to make it all the way through the program. You can do it!!!
