Make it a priority. My workouts change daily because of my hectic schedule (teacher) but I always find time. Sometimes that means a bright and early 7am run and sometimes that means a 10pm gym session. If it is important enough for you, you will make it happen.

I love mine! I have the garmin watch. Sometimes I takes a few minutes for the satellite to find a signal but other then that it's great. It tells you how far you go, how many calories you burn, etc. You can even set a pace and it will let you know if you are ahead of pace and beeps when you are behind your pace. My…

I said 1200 net calories... That's after exercise. I eat 1600 -2000 calories depending on what kind of exercise I do that day. As for the kitchen scale, I live abroad right now. I leave in a few weeks and I don't see the point in buying one now. I already lost 21 pounds without one. As soon as I get home I'll have my food…

I am currently living abroad and I'm in the same position. I don't have a scale and I don't plan on buying one because my residency here is only temporary (3 month left). Fortunately, I have found this to be the best thing that has happened to me for weight loss. When I have access to a scale I tend to become obsessive and…

They may be a little over estimated but I don't think by a full 50%. I go to the gym for about 2 hours a day, I run 5 to 6 miles a day plus do the bikes and elliptical. I also walk about 5 miles a day (to work, to school, etc) which I don't even log, so I think i'm pretty close with calories. I am also curious about the…

What I have learned from my experience is that you just can't change people. It's sad and hard but if they are going to change, they will really have to want it themselves. You can't want it for them. My family is all over weight and I have tried so many times to get them on board but they just won't. I've cooked healthy…

At the moment I am aiming for 135. From there I will see if I want to take it down to 130. I don't want to be too skinny.

I literally cannot have chocolate bars in my house ever. I am living abroad and the chocolate bars here are double (or triple) the size they are in the US so it is really bad news that I can eat the whole thing in one or two days. I do occasionally buy some chocolate and I will eat what I want and give the rest of a friend…
