Same! But I have like 5+ more pounds than you… adding you as a friend.

Hey Lisa! Nice to meet you. Yeah I feel ya on the heart attack thing… For me, it’s obvious I can’t eat what I want anymore. Not sure why others can but whatevs. Good luck!
-
Feel free to add me if you want. Looking to lose 40lbs and I’m a returning MFPer.

Like JennBona - I use a tablespoon of the International Delight and <gasp> fake sugar making my coffee just 35 calories.

This article as well as the links in it answered all of my questions! Thank you so much!!!

So if you eat 1200 to lose weight, how can you avoid the consequences of slowing your metabolism?
-
What constitutes as very low calories and for a long time? 1200 or lower?
-
New here. I need to get back on track so hoping this will get me going!!!
-
So why is it harder to lose the final 15? All I want is to lose 20.....
-
I'm at 1200 too. Go ahead and add me.

I know it @ladyhusker39 ....the low carb trend is definitely wild right now, but the research makes sense. And I really do feel like it may have something to do with my tummy blubber. But carbs are life... My parents are Portuguese and live on bread, potatoes, rice, beans, etc. So, I'm pretty sure my need for carb is…

It is so weird how when you get your period, your appetite just goes down. It's so nice, but at the same time, I wish that it was just that same the week before. BLAH. But yes, when you put all of those factors together, you definitely had a good Thanksgiving week. It's okay - I wasn't PMSing and gave up on it all on…

Crud....sorry... but yeah, I totally know that feeling. #danggirlproblems
-
Yeah....I am definitely not going to cut carbs anymore. I can't handle it. My body goes haywire. I just want the benefits of keto. LOL
-
Thank you everyone. It's a journey for sure. I'm already feeling better today after upping my carbs yesterday evening, and eating some toast this morning with my eggs, guacamole, and butter. Just going to do what MFP says for a little while and see what happens. At the end of the day, I just want to feel good.

It's so annoying how there is so much conflicted information out there. Even on these forums. Some people tell me that I need to eat more, and then some people say that the less you eat, the more you will lose. What in the world do I believe? I started on this journey to lose weight. Now, I'm on a journey of figuring…

Sorry..... I guess I have to put some things into perspective when I respond. 700 is a ton to me when eating healthy, but yeah 700 calories goes quick when eating a pizza. LOL I definitely know that.... Hehehe I work out at OrangeTheory and burn 500-600 each time, so I get pretty excited with that because it means I get to…

People keep telling me that I work out too hard and don't eat enough, which is why I am not losing weight. I have no idea why that is the case but sure it might be since the weight really isn't dropping off. I would imagine two hours of cardio would mean you would have to eat a ton more to be in that sweet spot of losing…

I really wish there was a solution for this PMS craziness. Not one where they say to eat celery instead of that frosted brownie that you really want....something that you can do throughout the month that would make PMS not so mentally taxing. I literally flew into a place last month for a brownie sundae. I could NOT deny…

@dwilliamca MFP uses those guidelines?
-
@psuLemon So it is 1 gram per pound? So if I wanted to be 130...I would eat 130 grams of protein? So confused.....
-
Thank you!! I looked it up and you are so right. So here's my next question....how does MFP determine how much carbs, fat, and protein you should have? I'm sure there is an article somewhere. Can someone point me in the direction of it?
-
I'm 5'6 and I'm at 137 now. My first goal is 135 and once I get there someday....weight loss has been excruciatingly slow, I'll reassess whether I want to go to 130. I think I will just to have 5 lbs to play with.

Do all Garmin watches do this? I may need to get one. Does it work just like the monitors they give you? Or do you have to use both?
-
I've been going since July!! Are you doing "He'll Week" at your location?
-
Need to get back on track! #1: Stick to 1500 net calories for SEVEN days. #sohard #2: Write in my fitness journal again. #3: Workout at OrangeTheory Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday #4: Do yoga Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
-
I did, but the ones I found aren't very active. It's all good though. I'll stick to here. :)

Add me please

Do you have to be home? If not, you could take yourself to the library or somewhere else where food isn't as accessible. Also, try taking a walk when the munchies hit. Sometimes, when I take a walk, it helps me feel better and not feel so ravenous anymore.

It depends on how many calories your body needs to function and how much exercise you do. Have you used some of the calculators out there that tell you how many calories you need to maintain? When you complete the settings for MFP, what does it say you need?
