  • Hi all!!! Thought I would drop in with an update. I have been having BP issues but with the help of MFP, I have been able to decrease my sodium and increase both potassium and exercise. With those changes, by the time I got in to see the Dr. my BP was normal!!! Top that off with a 20 lb. loss since I saw him last and he…
  • My Wed. wish.... that vehicles did not so deplete us financially that I will spend our 4 day holiday weekend that was supposed to be a family camping trip and reunion, home alone while hubby works. This is the second thing we planned for the summer just for fun that I wound up missing. I am totally bummed.
  • Hi all!!! I have a loaner computer for a few days so thought I would try to catch up a bit!!!! Sadly my computer seems to have bit the dust and there are more pressing financial needs that take precedence. My Kindle has kept me logging and exercising but has no capabilities for the message boards..... But sticking to…

  • People evidently don't believe I can spell my own first name... it is Marca NOT Marcia or Marcus, thanks for correcting that for me!!! People don't believe that my figure used to be compared to a Barbie doll.... I am twice the woman I used to be!!! People don't believe that I am sick most days because I hide it so I can do…
  • For me, if I keep my protein above and my carbs below the recommended amounts I function better and lose weight better. I let the macros be a guide and then do what I have found works for me. I advise everyone to do the same!!! Do what works for YOU!!!

  • It really is!!! Too bad it took nearly dying and 5 years of recovery (and many days that death would have felt like a reprieve) for me to finally get it!!! HEALTH is a gift beyond measure but unhealthy was the gift that made me appreciate it!!!
  • Thursday truth.... Thursday used to be a day I dreaded because it was my TOPS day. I would blow it from Friday to Sunday, start working at it Mon. and Tues., and bust my butt Wed. and Thurs..... When you lose weight the body then needs a bit of time to reset to the new weight as being THE weight it wants to maintain. So look at those stalls as the time your body…
