  • Hi I'm Charlotte and I am hoping to lose a couple of stone. My main focus is exercise and I am now trying to see food as fuel for the gym. I would love any other gym bunnies to add me and maybe share a few workout ideas - let's keep it interesting! Cx
  • Hi I'm from London. I am also looking to lose about 30lbs - fingers crossed!!!! I am always trying to be more active on here and offer motivation, if you fancy adding me as a friend it would be great to hear from you! Good luck! x
  • Hi all I am in London and definitely trying to be more active again after slacking slightly over the Christmas break.
  • I am 22 and based in London. Feel free to add - I am trying to be more active on here!
  • Hi there! Definitely willing to support.. will send you a request
  • I used to have this problem (I used to be H) and it near enough stopped me doing exercise. The only advice I have is to wear a slightly smaller size bra as tight as I could have it - I know a lot of people will disagree with this but it was the only thing I found to stop me getting a black eye whenever I went to the gym!…
  • You'll do great...Good luck!! Tough but so worth it
  • Well I was at the gym this morning and a PT came over to me while I was planking and said that a 'static plank' is not the most effective way to work your abs. Here are a couple of ways to get those abs working: Try lowering your hips and raising them back to neutral plank position Rotating your hips while keeping your…
  • I'm 22 and definitely after a few more friends on here! I am on the site everyday - some days more than others. I can guarantee some motivation, I have made a decision to be a little more active with other MFP members and I am always up for a natter! Hope I hear from some of you :flowerforyou:
  • I was literally just thinking that I should post a similar question to see if there is anyone about. If you are around the Kensington area it would be great to hear from you
  • I am so much better at getting up in the mornings and working out than I am going to the gym in the evening, but that has definitely not always been the case. I make sure that everything I could possibly need it waiting for me right next to my bed - if it's really cold out then I lay it all out on the radiator so that it…
  • I can definitely do that!!! Really need someone to be on my case and give me a push if i start slacking. Hope to hear from you!!!
  • I am also doing a 'biggest loser' with people at my work. It really doesn't seem to do the trick especially as I am wanting to do this the healthy way whereas a lot of people are just not eating. It is reassuring to come on this site and see people with a similar mind set to my own. Good luck!!!
  • So this isn't a snack idea but... it is definitely worth making sure you are drinking enough water constantly. Not a case of forgetting and quickly consuming a glass of water to try and up your water intake, instead making sure you are sipping constantly. I have found since doing this that I rarely want to snack anymore.…
  • This sounds good. I have been getting slightly swamped recently thinking about the much bigger picture when in fact a goal like this is perfect. All about the bite-sized chunks! I look forward to hearing how everyone gets on and I just hope I have good news by the end of it!!!
  • Hey! Would definitely never pass on the opportunity to have a friend on MFP! I have added you and check the site at various times during the day. Would be great to hear from you
  • It sounds like you have a plan there! Like you I usually become quite obsessed if I start counting calories etc. I did do WW for a while but the mementum didn't last very long and I just found it a hassle. I go to the gym a lot during the week and I know that I need calories and energy in order to complete my workout…
  • Ok I'm in. Seems like a good way yo kick start the positive mental attitude! I'm 22 and had not realised just how much weight I'd gained over the past couple of years. So after months of complaining I have decided to do something about it. I used to use the weight watchers plan but that really didn't last long. I train 2-5…
  • It's a get out of jail free card really. He has come to accept it and is quite happy just pretending to care. He does the exact same so it isn't a one way thing, I am completely happy to take the blame for lots of random things! It's a pretty good perk to being in a relationship = someone else to blame!!! Works for all…
  • Completely with you. THE weight is a nightmare. Although I must admit that I may hurl the clothes I would love to be able to wear in my boyfriend's direction (completely unintentionally of course) while screaming "IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT". It does take the edge off slightly but unfortunately only makes me feel better for a…
