I have thyroid issues as well...Hashimoto's thyroid, basically totally non functioning thyroid which I take 137 mg of levoxyl...I too find it difficult to lose, but have had the most success with MFP! A Grilled chicken salad with a lowfat dressing and a diet coke or unsweet tea us a good choice:) if you know you're going there, check out the nutrionak menu online or just look up items in the MFP database, that info should keep you on track.

Cooked up some edammame ( i make about 1/2 bag) and frozen corn, I just do them in the same pot:) drain and put into a bowl, add chopped onion, chopped red pepper. Make a dressing of olive oil, red vinegar, oregano, salt and pepper. ( all items adjusted to taste) Refrigerate a few hours or overnite. It's wonderful! Sooo…

I've wondered about that myself.. I also try to walk up the escalator or stairs and kinda speed walk from one store to the next rather than slowly window shop..That's got to burn something extra:)

I'm so cold all the time too! And I live in South Carolina, so the winters are considered warm! My neighbors were laughing at me seeing me bundled up in a sweater and jacket when I went out to get the mail and they have on t shirts! I'm so glad I'm not losing my mind..I thought it might have to do with the weight loss…

Love, LOVE Mexican food! I try to order the items with most veggies.. Just hold the sour cream and don't get items with the cheese sauces, prob best with fajita type dishes where you control how much shredded cheese you add:) and watch those drinks! You can make any recipe you have healthier by substituting Splenda for sugar...egg beaters for eggs.. I substitute strawberry or cinnamon applesauce for any oils the recipe calls for:. and a 1/2 & 1/2 mix of whole wheat flour and white flour... of course reg size muffins are much less caloric than Texas sized muffins:).…

I believe it's dry weight also...Try adding some cinnamon! Makes it yummy, plus a bit of cinnamon each day is great for you:)

Perhaps your sickness is coming from the gym itself. Try wiping down the handles of the machines at the gym with a disinfectant wipe before using them:) someone who was sick and germ laden may have used the machines before you.. I see that the grocery stores even have wipes near their carts to wipe the cart handles down…

You can also mix the fat free versions with your Int'l coffee flavors:) Coffee mate makes an assortment of liquid fat free flavors too, it's different at first, but you get used to it:)
