I don't know about the hybrid, but I love my elliptical! Just don't panic if you can't do more than 5 minutes at first, it takes a bit to work up to 30 min or so, but it's a great workout! I used to have a stationary bike but it was uncomfortable on my tailbone after 10 min, lol..Good luck!

I too have Hashimoto's...was diagnosed about 20 years ago. the key is to find a good endocrinologist! It took me YEARS of different doses until they finally regulated it, and then I found MFP and my new endocrinoligist (who I love:) was shocked that I was able to lose the weight. Losing 30 lbs for us is like someone else…

I absolutely love historical romances! One of the best series I ever read was the Series about the beginnings of our wonderful country..by John Jakes, the first book is The *kitten*. It follows one family line from a *kitten* birth in England to his part in the beginnings of the American revolution. The family series…

But then I discovered MFP last year and it's been awesome! I found that logging every morsel and 30 min of daily exercise does work! It's much slower than most average…

I started Reservatol a supplement I picked up at Sam's because it was recommended by Tv's Dr. Oz as an overall immune booster,.he says it's the one thing we all need daily, and OMG! Talk about regular! Maybe that would help. Good luck.

This is aweseome! I don't know about the calorie count....You could make substitutions, like buy the canned yams instead of cooking them, and perhaps egg beaters instead of eggs....etc. but I always get RAVES over this:) 6 medium size sweet potatoes 1/2 cup sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp Vanilla 1/3 cup milk 1/2 cup butter or…

I too have the same problem. Hypothyroidism (Hashimoto's disease) plus I also had my gallbladder removed about 20 years ago. I had struggled with my weight all these years. Was eating less and less, gaining more and more. It wasn't until I found MFP in January that I ever was able to lose any weight! I've learned YOU NEED…

I too am known for my holiday baking...I am simply going to adjust my old recipes to my new way of eating. For example, for Easter, I made an awesome cheesecake, by substituting splenda for sugar, low fat/fat free cream cheeses and low fat/fat free sour cream...No one was the wiser:) If you use only the low fat versions,…

I had the same problem. Could not get past 26 lbs for the longest time (wasn't gaining, but didn't lose either!) You look wonderful! keep up the good work...It's so frustrating I'm sure not to see it yourself, just keep in mind, you see yourself everyday and those around you see you on a daily basis so it's much harder to notice.
