@kandi3570 – nice loss this week! Amazing step totals as well – I am happy for you that you can go to the Y and going with your daughter is an added benefit. We are finally back in school here and I know students and parents are much happier. Good luck on your plan and reaching your goal. Great week, congrats!…

OK folks, the weekend is here. We can sit on the sofa and watch mindless TV or we can get up and follow our plan for activity (walk, ride a bike, exercise, whatever). Today is your day, make it a good one or not, the choice is yours. CHOOSE WISELY!!!!

Good morning all, wishing everyone a great weekend. It has rained here in NC all week and I am ready to see the SUN! All walking has been inside! I am still drinking lots of water (juice glass trick has really helped). While my coffee is brewing (about 10 minutes) I have been doing some arm exercises with 3 pound weights.…

TODAY IS FRIDAY---- Stick with your plan this weekend; wise food choices, hydration, exercise, and definitely don't forget to do something for your MENTAL health. KEEP ON KEEPING ON.............................. ]

My water trick is still working (small juice class at designated times). I even added a water app to my phone to remind me. I don't really like the app I chose so if anyone has a recommendation let me know. I was called by our county office to see if I would start back substitute teaching. I went to my school this week to…

It sounds like you have a great plan for February! Congrats on the loss this week.

@minstrelofsarcasm Your exercise is amazing! Congrats on becoming the "go to" person in your spin class. I am sure that you will keep a close eye on the slight gain. I go up and down while doing diet and exercise that should have me losing. I am really thinking about adding calories. I would appreciate your scientific…

You are so right, don't stress. You know you are doing what you can with diet and exercise.

@podperson1 Test if your scale is accurate by finding an item with an exact weight, for example, a 10-pound free weight. If the scale registers anything other than 10 pounds, it needs to be calibrated or replaced. Many digital scales have a calibration mechanism that may need to be reset, so check for that as well. I hope…

I Good idea to wait a day, especially after a big breakfast. I did well yesterday, yet the scales showed a .4 gain today, Go figure :/ I am going to use your philosophy, SCALES LIE.

THINK OF THIS PICTURE FOR THE NEXT 24 HOURS WHEN YOU ARE TEMPTED TO EAT SOMETHING THAT YOU KNOW YOU SHOULD NOT EAT! :D

@melaniescott and @minstrelofsarcasm I sure wish I could send y'all some of my blueberries. I have about 5 gallons in the freezer from last year's crop. I made a blueberry pancake one day last week and it was so good. I also like to eat them frozen, kind of like a little round popsicle.

@CassieGetsFit2013 Hang in there, February is a new month. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, the new Fitbit Versa may give you just the incentive that you need.
-
@tryingagain5 Congrats on your loss! Love seeing the scales go in the right direction.

I have a friend that diets Monday through Friday but eats whatever she wants on the weekend. It seemed to work for her but I know it would never work for me. I try to eat only when hungry but still make wise decisions.

@mwlaniescott - that cheesecake does sound sweet! :) but also yummy. My husband loves cheesecake and I haven't made one in a long time. Thanks for the idea, I may make one for Valentine's Day. <3

https://mrsmalin.files.wordpress.com/2013/01/127.jpg I DID IT!!!! I weighed 127 this morning, my magic number. I hovered around 127 for several years then Covid hit. I did great through October. I was a bit depressed during Thanksgiving and Christmas and ate like a field hand (southern reference). I will do my best in 2021…

@goingape - got a good chuckle from this, yep we all live with Monday brain. :) <3
-
@jedaschultz - Looks like you are holding pretty steady. @goingape - this can't be your previous weight from last week. It must be a typo or previous from another week. Either way, hang in there!

@RoseyandReady We just turned our calendar to new page giving us all a fresh new start. Go for it, you can do it!
