The storm passed through Wilson NC without any harm. Just the aggravation of putting all the outside stuff inside and then all plants down from hooks then back out again this morning. My sister lives at Holden Beach and the entire downstairs was flooded, a total gut job and all furniture is being thrown away. She and her…

My Sunday Success: I continue walking until I reached 15,000 steps! I walked around the house for the last 1,000.

I am from eastern NC so I will start with Hey y'all, Bless your hearts! Such interesting reading this morning but also somewhat overwhelming. I am new to F2F and am trying to find my way around. It is so interesting to hear from folks all over the world and I see that @raleighgirl09 doesn't live too far from me. I joined…

Hello Lisa, Theresa and the team, (hope to learn more names soon) I am not sure if I am in the right place to post my introduction or not but here goes: Theresa and Pam are both friends of mine and posted an invitation to this challenge. It sounded interesting and a great place for support so I am definitely looking…

Good luck Jim! Prayers for your surgery and a complete and speedy recovery. First time in the hospital at age 70 is quite impressive. I am from NC and get up every day around 4:00, wish I could reset my internal clock but when I wake up I get up.

looks like you are doing fantastic. I am also at maintenance. On the days that I work I eat a protein bar and some fruit (apple, strawberries, melon, etc. So easy to pack my lunch, it keeps without a refrigerator and I can also eat this while walking. It works great for me, hope it works for you.

100 calorie packs of nuts are very convenient, protein bars, apples, peanut butter sandwich, banana, many easy things to carry that do not require refrigeration. I also keep bottled water in my truck. Plan ahead is most important. But why do you need to go in the restroom to eat?????

I opted for the cheaper fitbit zip and love it. I've had it 2 years now and other than replacing a battery, which are cheap, I have had no trouble. It is very accurate and I walk 10000-18000 steps every day. It really keeps me on track. I also have a walking group that I moderate and many of us use fitbits. Good luck

If you watch tv, get up during the commercials. You can walk 300+ steps during the commercials. We had an ice storm this week so I did ally walking while watching tv. Over 15,000 steps on my fitbit

ive added protein bars. they are 190 calories but have 9-10 grams of protein. Nature valley dark chocolate with almonds is my favorite. You can get them at the grocery store and they are only about 60 cent each. You can also eat nuts and peanut butter. Both high in calories but have nutritional value. Good luck
