  • Hi there. Difficult to comment when you do not have much of your food tracked. I agree that you should get an accurate calorie target, but also the percentage of protein, carbs, etc. Looking at what you have logged today, you are pretty low on protein and if you are not eating all of your calories per day, maybe you are…
  • I've been going about 10 days and I THINK I can JUST start feeling a difference in my clothes, but not sure if it is wishful thinking!!! LOL
  • Bit harsh, but each to their own. I would not take a comment like that well, but we are all different. Personally, I find looking at photo's the biggest wake-up call. As for mirrors in clothing store change rooms, well that is just plain depressing!
  • I agree with some earlier comments to up the weight training. It is not good to be so far under your target intake per day. If you are weight training, you should at least try to meet your protein requirements. I think you size is fine, maybe just some "firming up". I'm sure that will make you feel better about yourself…
  • Wow! Good for you! It is so nice to read stories like this, so thank you for posting. You are changing your life AND your future. Absolutely fantastic. x
  • Wow! That is fantastic! Thanks for the inspiration. x
  • I comment on posts I see on my profile, so if a friend does not comment, or mention that they are having a difficult day, I do not comment. I don't just send them a message because I assume they are managing on their own. I don't know if you update your status saying what you are struggling with? Also, do you give your…
  • Hi there. Firstly, well done for coming back and wanting to change your life - big step. I am probably not the best to give advise as I HATE cooking and my diary is not a good one to follow. I was also living on junk food. I would start with a healthy breakfast, but get progressively worse as the day drew to a close. I…
  • The previous post is true. You need to look after YOU now! It is sad the way your sister is behaving, but I think it is only natural to feel a BIT jealous, but only if she herself is overweight. I know I feel a tinge of jealousy when my sister (who has always been slim) is looking good, BUT I am also very proud of her and…
  • Hi there. I do not have an answer for you, but you are definitely not alone with this and well done for admitting that you have a problem, and more importantly, that you want to STOP! I am similar with chocolate. I will really enjoy it to begin with, but I will finish the slab/box regardless. I will eat until I feel ill…
  • This is my first weekend, so will see how I do. Like one of the others posted, my weekend "binge" used to start on a Friday, so for 3 days of the week, I would eat junk! When I went shopping this afternoon, I bought a few chocolate USN protein bars and I am SO looking forward to one just now! I am fully expecting to go…
  • That is fantastic! You are an inspiration to all of us wanting to lose weight. Well done! x
  • Wow! Well done! That is a fantastic result. You should be so proud of yourself.
  • You sound like someone ready to beat your food "habit". Good for you! You will do it. :)
  • USN Diet Fuel nutrition bars (I have only had the caramel crunch flavour) taste really good and are far better for you than chocolate - it is on the food database. As mentioned earlier, a small amount of chocolate is ok, but if you are anything like me, it is "all or nothing"! Good luck.
  • I am also looking for friends so that we may help motivate each other. I am from South Africa. I am 46 with 5 dogs (no children) and have always been slightly overweight, but now it is out of control and I if I continue like this, my health will suffer. I am determined to do it this time! Friends welcome!
  • Thanks SO much for the inspiration. I joined Curves about 2 weeks ago, started watching my diet and exercising and then lost motivation over the Easter period. Your story has made me BELIEVE that I can do it. I have about 15 Kg to lose, so a long way to go. Thank you so much for posting your story for all of us. You and…
