To be healthy, mostly. Also to look good. I have a lot of clothes but couldn't fit into most of them anymore! I didn't want to have to buy an entire new wardrobe, and definitely did not want to start shopping in plus sizes! And, I'm moving to Florida next year and I can't stand the way I look in a bikini...

You can eat at mcDonalds and still lose weight! Of course a big mac and large fries probably isn't a good idea but I do eat a happy meal occasionally, it's not too high in calories. LOVE jack and coke too but haven't had any alcohol in a couple months. I think jack and diet coke needs to happen soon. :)

I don't log spices, seasonings, and anything that is my daily routine. I've been really bad about forgetting to log water. I don't always log diet drinks or low calorie fruits/vegetables either.. depends on how I feel I guess. As long as I'm somewhere between 1200-1400 calories it doesn't really matter to me, I'm active…

I have a bit of a soda problem too but I've cut back a lot. After I started working out regularly I didn't want it as much any more.. it really seems to slow me down and gives me side aches. I find that drinking sparkling water actually helps with the soda cravings too.

It varies from week to week. My work schedule is different every week and I go to school too, so it is sometimes difficult to do anything more than c25k. This week I have managed to do body weight training on two of my days off and I plan to keep doing that.

I'm 5'6" and have about 33 pounds to lose. I began using a couch to 5k running app 3 weeks ago and I'm starting to love running. I log in daily and try to give support/motivation as much as I can. Feel free to add me! :)

Oreos are the one thing I had to give up completely! I can't eat just one. Everything else I still eat, just in smaller portions.

Portion control. I love food too much but logging calories helps me really see how much I am eating and motivates me to cut back. I also started couch to 5k the same time I came back to mfp. That has really helped motivate me to get outside and start running 3 days a week!

Same here! I moved to Texas over the summer and spent a lot of time in the pool and I was always trying to hide my belly! Don't want to do that again. 5'6" CW: 158 GW: 130, maybe 125.. depends on how I feel once I get there!

Hi everyone! I'm new to this group.. just finished week 2 today. It feels great. Love this program so far. Even in high school I couldn't run an entire mile without stopping.. Can't wait until I can run an entire 5k!

Several years ago I paid $19/month for my husband and I at fitness 19.. he never went, but even then it was a good deal. I quit going when I moved to a different state and haven't joined a gym since... most of them have been too expensive for my budget. :(

French fries dipped in a milkshake (especially if its from Wendy's or In-n-out) Hot sauce on almost anything, including mac and cheese, spaghetti, pizza... Ketchup and mac n cheese. I always eat my pizza with ranch! Italian dressing on pizza is pretty good too..

I work in a deli at a grocery store so I know how you feel. People are always telling me to try a sample of things so I know what it tastes like. It's really hard to log those extra calories from little bits of food here and there too. I don't really like much deli food so it's not that big of a problem for me, though.…

People who illegally park in the handicap parking spots because they are too lazy to walk. I HATE this. Save the handicap spots for the people who actually need them.
