  • Well I know I will never be any of the above, my frame, booty and boobs would never allow. To be honest I would be happy to have the figure of Nigella Lawson and my husband would most definately be a very happy bunny:blushing:
  • haha this has made me chuckle, My board told me yesterday that I had lost 1st 9lb in just 8 days:noway: when in reality it was a 1lb loss on my digital scales. I will not be using the Wii fit scales for confirmation.
  • oh gonna try this one, it sounds yummy
  • cor blimey they look lush, have taken note of recipe. My girls love my carrot cake trouble is made with oil, these are ideal as fat free. yummy
  • vent away and as you say better here than at your hubbie, although sounds like hubbie needs to understand that he is in a family and not a single man. Marriage is a partnership. hugs:flowerforyou:
  • I was putting under dancing/general too, but of late I have been putting under Wii fit low intensity as feel the cal burn is probably truer.
  • It's just fab and I love the theme tune too!
  • Ow not a nice thought but I suppose the tissue would clean you out on the way through:laugh:
  • 100% agree, want to lose weight at a steady pace but at the same time want to get help with the PCOS side of stuff, not so much the side effects, have lived with them so long now they've almost become my friends "just" but want to be eating the right ratios, no good putting petrol in a diesel car, same principle really if…
  • really dont think I could cope on such a low % carb as that :noway:
  • Totally agree thats normal if following a good diet like I am now, my grumble was only 1lb a week when only having 450 cals a day via shakes, but I am NEVER EVER gonna go down that route again, so loved the idea of not having to think about food as all done for you, but so far I cant praise MFP enough. • I have to say Ive been pretty good with the tracking of foods and drinks, but for sure there are days when I could make better choices even if I am staying within my calorie allocation. Im glad to say that my TOM is not to bad, but I do get all the other stuff, I have more spots on my face than my teenage daughter:noway: ,…
  • Im waiting for this to come through, but after reading the above posts im a bit scared of the pain im gonna be in the next day when I finally get to try it:laugh:
  • couldnt live without carbs 40% sounds reasonable to me though, trouble is carbs are so easy for prep'ing ie sarnies/crackers.cous cous etc for quick lunches at work
  • I was diagnosed 12 years ago and tried all diets under the sun since then, but just love my carbs, but thinking they dont love me  I have grown wiser in my years of dieting and come to the realization that its not gonna go as quick as I liked. But defo would like to see what others think about protein/carb ratios
  • No reason at all to be honest why you couldn't continue to work out, perhaps running etc not the best thing if you suffer heavy periods, you may just need to up your iron intake a wee bit like green veggies/leaves and a little more red meat etc, this will help you not to flag when you exercise.
  • GO FOR IT, it is in no way selfish, live for today, if it helps you gain that bit of self confidence that you need then head straight for the hairdressers, there is some really good value make-up on the market too, like in the supermarkets. Like some other folk have said go to a local cosmetology school or ask the…
  • haha id like to see the scales to try and weight the earth and moon:laugh:
  • fantastic, you set your mind to it and you will do grand, but dont allow it to stop you eating out etc, just make better/cleaner choices, that way you wont feel deprived or feel like your missing out. Wish you all the best in your journey.
  • Couldn't agree more, I have been on here for nearly 4 weeks now and have been VERY selective in my acceptance of friends, like 2 lol, as you say we need like minded folk that live in the real world not "The Sims Village" so you can friend me if you like as im gonna be around for a while with the amount im needing to lose…
  • I lived with gallstones for over 4 yrs, was a good incentive for losing weight as anything remotely fatty started of my pain, was in hospital for 4 days with first bout of pain, managed to lose 4 stone of weight in about 6 months and maintained this until my gallbladder was removed by keyhole surgery, unfortunately all my…
  • I would say up your cal intake a little and see if that jump starts your metabolism again and then take it from there. Best of luck x
  • Im here  and just starting my 4th week of MFP, what a fab site. I have dipped in and out of this 100lb los thread and have now plucked up the courage to type something. I have tried most diet systems, weight watchers, slimming world, cambridge diet etc but really like the concept of calorie counting, this site…
  • the whole family taking it in turns to play each other right at his moment, so cant hang around here for to long or ill miss my go lol
  • In the dance song selection page select Non-stop shuffle, this will just keep loading songs until youve had enough, I had it on for an hour the other day, gives you just a few seconds to grab a drink before next sing loads, just ace
  • I have both and like them all, JD1 give u short dance option but so far not seen that on JD2, so you have to dance full length of song, out of the 2 I would say I would play JD2 most
  • im a Helen too and couldnt agree more! I just love JD2, had to laugh yesterday, was playing with my 2 girls 8 & 12, 40 minutes later they are wanting to stop, me I could of kept going lol. When we play we keep it on shuffle mode, that way the computer picks whats coming next, so keeps you on your toes! plus just a…
