I do too. I don't use margarine, it's ingredient list is only one item different from industrial plastics they make the margarine bowls from. Move over butter is real butter, it's just made from a leaner milk.

Are you measuring all your portions? That is one area where people trip up a lot, not measuring. if I were eating Paleo, or a strictly clean diet, there is no way I could intake 5000 calories! I struggle to take in 1500 a day if I am eating lots of veges and lean meats. I don't see how someone could physically eat that much volume.

I use it for everything I cook. I stir fry with it, I put it in breads, desserts, whatever. I make salad dressing with it (mix with some vinegar and pom juice and shake well, note it has to be 76 degrees to be liquid, so only m ix enough for one salad at a time because refrigeration would make it turn solid).

It is psychologically damaging to reward children with food, candy, sweets. Find a good reliable report on this and send it to the school- it won't be hard to find, it is very well proven that it causes dysfunctional eating habits that last a lifetime if not intentionally changed (and that can be quite difficult to do).
