I don't think you need to grow up.. and I see why you would be frustrated.. my husband came to me from the midwest where he grew up on casseroles and canned veggies and no seafood at all. What worked to broden his spec of foods was him learning to enjoy cooking (I know a win win for me).. so he loves to tackle cooking…

be careful with your plan.. if you go into it thinking you can't have any of it and bringing all kinds of really healthy snacks.. you are more than likely going to be miserable. As someone else suggested.. eat before you go.. maybe something like a big salad.. filling but without the excess calories. Get some excersize in…

There is this great breading called oven fry.. you can find it where the shake and bake is and it makes awsome, yummy, crispy pork chops. Also buy a food thermometer.. a remote one works best. You can put the probe in the food and then there is a remote read out, so you can get them out of the oven about 5 degrees…

well step one is get GOOD fish.. It is one of the few places I will spend the money at someplace like Whole Foods. Fish shouldn't taste or smell fishy! I know it sounds strange but it is true. Don't be afraid to ask when the fish came in or even to smell it. If it looks mushy or to shiney.. pass on it. I do fish a few…

I use spaghetti squash as the noodles for stir fry and it comes out great. Cook it and your stir fry seperately and then toss together before serving.. yummy!
